Just got my stout, but no 26650 batteries though, they are a few days behind, but got it setup in 18650 for the moment, it is smaller than I expected and love the finish on it, feels a good quality mod, and for me the screen isn't bad at all, but then won't be using outside.

Anyone else getting resistance jumping in wattage mode?

Everything cranked down properly - tested on multiple attys (rta and pre-built coil heads).

Mine was a bit glitchy as well. It started reading resistance anywhere from .05 to .1 ohms low (compared to all my other mods and my 521 Tab). I did the update and suddenly it was reversed - now the same reading high. I was also having issues with getting errors when I'd fire. I'd either get a reading of 0.00 (not a message about no atomizer) or Device too hot. It's REALLY hard to get the mod too hot when all you run is Kayfuns at 17 watts. I've heard that the battery can be part of the problem. I'm using an IMREN 5500 with a stated CDR of 22A but I suspect, based on the over-stated claims of most batteries, that it is closer to 10 amps. Seeing as how I only run mine to about 3 to 4 amps, I don't think I'm stressing it. I'm sending mine back for replacement. Haven't had a single problem with VF.

Anyone have a problem with the device saying 'device too hot'? It isn't while I'm vaping, but when I have left it sat a while, the 1st press comes up with that message and it isn't every time, just on odd occasions, it is strange as like said it doesn't happen when actually using, only when it has sat a while, so not sure how it can be too hot when not been used for a while.

Not done the update yet, so guess I will try that and see if that helps.

Oh and still not got my 26650 batteries from shop12south, even though said they was only a few days behind, ordered from them as they had the stout and batteries, or was meant to :-x

Ended breaking down and bought some green efest 26650's at a local shop, cost me $30, so didn't really save in the end, but the batteries are working well and getting really good vape time with them :)

Got to say, the customer support is awesome from Vape-Forward, I sent a email about my stout on the odd occasion saying 'device too hot' when 1st went to vape it, just asking if something I should concerned about, straight away offered to replace it for me, sent me a prepaid shipping label and will going back tomorrow, which they said they will send me a new one, which they will test to make sure it is good, as soon as they receive mine.

I expected them to say go through with who I bought it from, so even though mine had a glitch, very happy I went with the stout, just sucks I will be without for about a week.

    Right behind you...
That Flawless looks like an IPV D2 crashed into a Stout. And not in a good way (then again, there's nothing released from Flawless that I ever found attractive, and while this one is probably the least unattractive thing they've made, they'll probably ugly this one up too [#ug life] with blood splatter and even more overt branding).
