I just came home from a trip to Costa Rica (for my sister's wedding). Flew through MIA, FL and had no problems vaping in any airport or any plane!!! FLEW AMERICAN AIRLINES WITH NO PROBLEMS vaping IN MY SEAT. I purposely vaped non-smelly juice but all my juices and all had at least some VG (even if I have to add myself because I LOVE VAPOR)...so there was lots of vapor and no smell...and no problems or even questions on the planes or airports (other than security).
Going through security, I got some questions but everyone thought it was cool! One TSA guy made me take a drag off of it to prove what the batts were really for...and then he thought it was cool too. I think its because I had about 10 batts with me all in one little baggy together maybe looking suspicious (unusual and never seen before). I suppose when people are trying to light their underwear on fire (OMG)...you have to ask about everything now. CRAZY!
People in Costa Rica were SHOCKED by it and amazed!!! They were interested in them but cigs there are only $2/pack...so...PVs may not affordable in comparison ...especially considering shipping charges. The people in C.R. who were interested would spend time with me vaping in front of them for a bit before they asked me what it was, and all said the lack of smell is what prompted them to ask. They assumed it was some new form of regular smoke at first.
Every hotel was fine with me vaping in the lobby even though I don't think they knew what I was doing exactly. The lack of smell seems to make it a winner all around.
People here in Philly aren't shy! As soon as they see it they will ask if they are interested or uninformed. Many of our malls sell some version of PVs so I think most people here have seen or heard of them.
PHILLY TRAINS (RR's): VAPE FRIENDLY WHEN TRAIN IS NOT PACKED WITH PASSENGERS from my experience...not that it is written anywhere!!!....Never tried it when crowded due to JUST HOW TIGHT the trains get. When PACKED I cant even imagine what a little vapor may do to the small amount of air in there. I haven't tried to vape on the "quiet cars" because they are usually .... in there.
