I think you need something to break down the VG and PG or you are just smearing much of the residue. Sure, you will pick up some of it...but I think some gets left behind.

I use a 80% VG and 20% PG mix in most of my liquids.

I find that in colder weather, the glass of the car fogs a bit faster. I suspect that the cold glass condenses the vapor more readily, so more of it sticks to the glass rather than being allowed to dissipate. I keep my fan venting the air (not recirculating) at all times and it does reduce the frequency I need to wipe the glass.

I use Invisible Glass and have found that using it twice on each window is very effective.

I notice the film too so I just carry a microfiber cloth and just wipe it once in a while.

Makes you wonder where else it sticks to and we just can't see it.
I vape in the car and the window smear is terrible. You thinking of our lungs? I think it's water soluble and I think our lungs clear it fairly completely. I'd love someone to tell me I'm right? :)

Maybe it's just me but I find these threads humorous... If you own a car, cleaning your windows shouldn't be anything new.

If you're a former smoker getting dirty stuff on the inside of your car windows should be nothing new. Best way to minimize it... open the window a crack.

Best way to clean it... there's that old stuff called Windex... things called paper towels, although newspaper works better. For the DIY crowd a couple of tablespoons of white vinegar (organic optional) mixed in a spray bottle with water still works... If you want to go industrial... substitute ammonia.

Microfiber wipes/towels seem a bit overrated and over marketed to me. Nothin an old worn, out t-shirt couldn't do just as good of job...

You know those big buildings full of infomercial quality products at the state fair? (They have them at the California state fair, I just assume they have them at every state fair)

Well I got conned into buying one of those microfibre Swiffer type mops from the infomercial Bazaar -- He finally hooked me when he said 'but wait, there's more' [seriously] and he pulled our a small, triangular, hand held microfibre mop for doing windows and such.

I keep it in my backseat, use it to clean the windows at stop lights, and ever couple of months i throw the microfibre cloth in the washing machine. Works great for me since my dash is about 3 feet deep and its sometimes hard to reach the whole windshield.

My husband doesn't smoke but the windshield is always smeary in his vehicle. I could smoke a pack in mine and not mess up the windshield. I think it has to do with the environment the vehicle travels each day. He was in bumper to bumper traffic for more than an hour each way every day. I was traveling 90% of the time on highways and always kept the window at least cracked. He only puts down the window to pickup his drive-thru order. He also loves those Glade vent air fresheners with the liquid inside--usually in new car or linen scent so he can make the rest of us car sick, I suspect.

Yep, i notice this film on the windshield too. Specially at the spot right in front of the driver seat (where i blow the vapor to).
As a side note, even in this you can notice the diference between vaping and smoking. When i smoked i noticed a film too. But that film was very hard to clean. It needed some sort of soap and a lot of rubbing to come off. The film that appears now that i vape? heh i can take it off just by rubbing my hand at it.
