So far I've had terrible experience with tanks but I really like the idea and really want to find one that works for me.
I've tried the SmokTeks with the tiny holes punched and they just sit there now doing nothing.

After reading and watching and reading and watching over and over tons of reviews it seems to come down to the J-tank vs the Liquinator so let me get to my question(s)

For the Liquinator there seem to be two options (more really but for my purpose we'll say two.)

There's the 510 Vape-O-Matic Liquinator 3mL and the Vape-O-Matic Liquinator Anodized AL 3mL
Is the only difference here cosmetic?

And lastly how do they stack up against the J-Tank? I've heard the Liquinator is slidier. Is this a big issue here?

I dislike the outer o-rings that come with the Liquinators. They require too much force to fit the end caps to the tubes. I replaced them with these o-rings and the fit is much more to my liking. The internal o-rings snug up on to the cartos well enough, though.

The differences in the two versions of the Liquinator you cited are the materials of the end caps. One is delrin and the other is anodized aluminum.

I haven't owned or used a J-Tank, but from the majority of reviews I've stumbled across, I'd wager it's the better choice.
