There doesnt have to be taxes to prove it since they are exempt.
Maybe I need a cup of coffee to comprehend the situation but if states are losing cigarette taxes because vaping is on the rise then it seems to me like that shows vaping is not BT. But maybe I just need that coffee.

JUUL is 70% of the Vape Market .. Altria owns 35% of JUUL ..

JUUL is 65+% of the Convenience Store and Mixed Retail Store market.

"Other" would be B&M Vape Shops .. but why split hairs .. ??

I think you will find when you go Back to the Source of that Pie Chart that the data comes from C-Store/Mixed Retail Store Distributors.

Not sure what your Favorite(s) Online e-Cigarette Retailer(s) are? But they are Not Included in any Market Share Data that I have seen. Because they Don't Use the same Distributors as C-Store/Mixed Retail do.

And of course, someone like FT or Heaven's Gifts doesn't show up on Any Market Share Data.

I think a JUUL is like 20 Bucks for a Kit in C-Store. And like 15 Bucks for a 4 Pack of refills.

Cheaper Online.
Now I am mathmatically challenged but I spent $100 a year on diy. Im sure that comes out to pennies a day. Id take that over Juul any day.

I was mixing and rebuilding a couple months after switching 5 years ago. My cost of ingredients is 1 cent per ml. My secret is 1% flavoring. No palate fatique so don't need variety either. I mix 200 ml batches. Recently I tried unflavored for the first time in years, tolerable but like my 1% mix better.

There are people who want the wonderful world of flavors and the vape shop scene. I don't begrudge that but prefer my cheapskate approach. I'm offended by the way the shop owners are being treated regardless of the business they are in.

I dont seem to mind unflavored. But like you I like my flavored and I just stick to one. A nice vanilla birthday cake. But the cost of flavorings is my biggest cost.

Juul is like bragging about your Kia at a BMWmeetup.. $11+NJOY at gas station is better than a juul.. $25+ Zero at a vape store even better.

Not say'n that there Aren't Better setups out there. Or Cheaper for that matter.

But if an Adult can use one to Get Off or Stay Off Cigarettes, well... , Isn't that Better than Smoking?

BTW - If people could see the e-Cigarette I used to Quit Smoking, I'm sure they would Laugh. And would say that it should be in a Museum somewhere.

Which it Actually might be.

LOL

Hey that's Great that you let us All Know this. But Isn't that just Encouraging the Partisan BS that we just went thru in this Thread?

Or was that the Intent?

There was no intent, I don't operate that way. The post I responded to brought up HIV and that's a cause that's near and dear to my heart, since you asked.
