Would you really want to have whatever chemical that could do that in your lungs? I won't even vape juice with food coloring.

I was tempted for a moment thinking of things that can color vapor, how cool it would be and how it would probably raise less accusations that you were 'smoking and then got thinking how bad that could be in your lungs.

That said - some artificial flavorings already have coloring added - part of the reason they are called 'artificial'. You can tell (even if its not on the label) if you have some artificial flavoring with added color as part of the ingredients because the vapor can be less than white. Its barely noticable but artificial vanilla flavoring can add a brownish tinge to vapor, and one with anything in them that color them blueish can give you a grayer vapor. Of course that is food coloring additives - just don't know how great color is added via flavoring into vapor. Usually why I, like you, stay away from anything extra. I have gotten a few of the more commercially available but well known brands lately with preservatives in them and even if its only Citric Acid.

Love the idea of exhaling rainbows and glitter - it would be like living in an Harry Potter story that is until you lungs collapsed :)

They can do the colored smoke in the tires as well as the jet exhaust from planes and jet powered dragsters due to an oily additive that burns in specified color. Problem is that they banned it from drag racing because the colored smoke would drift to the parking lot area and the color would settle on white or silver cars and not come off. I had to throw out a white jacket, socks and underwear (yes you heard me) after coming home from the dragstrip. They all got stained pink and yellow from the smoke of a jet funny car. I was in th pits close to the starting line that night. what a mess. It wouldn't even come out after 3 washes with bleach! So colored vapor, no thanks!
