The trick to not having nic ooze out when you open a fresh bottle is to make sure you initially bottle your nicotine while it is warm. If you rebottle the nic cold is when you have problems with this. Basically as we all know nic contracts when cold. If it has already contracted and then you fill a bottle to the threads with cold nic, you will have a mess on your hands later when it warms up.

ok , its done..... just ordered $640 worth of 100ml, that's 16-1L bottles. $640 seems like allot of money but its like a 37 year supply for two people. now, peace-meal i will add a few more liters until i cannot get it anymore. im going to have to re-bottle, but bottles don't cost $12 more. i paid $40 per liter and it has to the cheapest price on the planet.

what do i do with 16 bottles of nic if this crap gets reversed? now, its gonna be me that's laughing when they say they want a $1 or more added per ML in taxes. screw 'em

Congratulations! WIN-WIN no matter how it turns out, you WIN. :thumb:

You just bought in to DIY. Get cracking in the ECF DIY sections and start saving tons of money making your own eliquids!

Read the rest of this forum thread and see what else you need: scale, bottles, pg/vg, flavorings. But you need recipes!!!

I would say the best thing to do is vape it and laugh all the way to the bank with the money you will have saved. Even if the deeming mess gets watered way down the powers that be will still want their taxes. I don't think it will ever be cheaper than it is today so I consider nic in the freezer just as good as money in the bank but the interest rate is higher.

i dont really need to learn how to DIY been doing it for a couple of years now. pre-made is just to much money at $20+ per 30ML bottle when i can make it for less then $1. as i said i am always trying to save money.

also i never used a scale, just a syringe without the needle to measure off ML. i have some bottles already enough to get by and i have multiple flavors already but i might stock up. i doubt the FDA is going to be able to touch flavors. what is the shelf life on extracts i doubt its as long as nic

Yea, if I could figure out how to make that kind of interest I could retire in the Bahamas in style...

hord piles of it and resell. i think allot people that vape have no clue whats going on. they will go to get their liquid one day and it wont be there to buy anymore. once it gets taxed to death its suddenly worth more to friends and family.

did people hord cigarettes BEFORE they got taxed to their current level? did people not see the taxes coming? is the shelf life on sealed tobacco not as good as sealed nic? of course around here the res has always been around so that's where people have been going the last 20+ years.

i would like to think the natives are going to get in the business of making and selling nicotine liquid, but i cant count on it. so now i probably would never have to buy nic ever again, well maybe just a little more so i can hord some.

with all of this hording going on, how are they keeping up with demand?

On another thread it was estimated that with some state tax levels a liter of nic could cost up to $3,000... $.04 per mg per ml...

wow that's really really stupid. i thought i read somewhere that is was going to be $1,000 per 1L bottle which i thought was really disturbing. even if the natives get into the game, with taxes that high i can see them selling it significantly more then it sells for now. couple hundred dollars for a 1L bottle would seem dirt cheap.

i live in NY state run by that idiot cumo. im surprised he isnt already trying to get his hands into the cookie jar yet already. with the internet sales you can evade state taxes until they place bans on shipping. if its federal tax your screwed either way. you know they placed a ban on manufactured cigarettes, but you could still get RYO via the internet pretty easily. im sure that too will change. they might try to close all of the loopholes and steal our money if we let them. ny has one of the highest taxes on cigarettes in the nation, a pack around here is $11 give or take. i can easily see them trying to transfer those taxes to nic liquid. they can justify it with cigarettes because people die from them, what's their justification with vaping? simple thieves

i think this purchase today was more about evading an unfair tax then it is about avoiding a ban. a ban is possible, but a tax is extremely likely. they want to control this entire market and they are trying to come for our money.

if a tax goes through that is completely unfair and unjust, history might need to repeat itself. think boston tea party 21st century style is in order. dump the overtaxed e liquid into the hudson lol.

Shelf life on flavors has been estimated to be btw 2 and 5yrs.

I keep everything in fridge and freezer.
Freezer: nic, pg/vg in bottles
Fridge: flavors

A video that I posted from Grimm Green back a page or two in this thread has him saying that a gallon of premade is already at around $2000+ per gallon in Chicago. I live in Chicago and have not bought anything locally since the taxes went in to effect in January so he may be right. I started buying everything online after the tax went in to effect.

Not considering sales or any sort of bulk discounts that is the standard price for something like Mr E liquids here at the $16.99/30ml retail price with no imposed state or federal taxes on it. 3785.41ml per gallon @ $0.57 per ml = $2,143 per gallon.

Which is almost $600 per liter. Now add tax to that...
The last juice I bought was Super Charged Heaven RY2K which retails for $40 per 120ml before sales tax. I bought their last 3 bottles at the time on sale and after sales tax it cost me a tad over $100. The clone I am trying to make of it now would cost me ~$6 to make 360ml.....
