It stars Paul Walker who owns The Vape Zone, a little clean cut mom and pop vape shop that is fair on prices and likes to help people quit smoking. In the movie, a new shop opens a crossed the street that looks more like a tattoo parlor than a vape shop. All of the dudes are tatted up and blowing big obnoxious clouds.
Johnny (Paul Walker) is a traditional tootle puffer who thinks that this new fad of sub-ohming is stupid a dangerous. Not only that, but he thinks that it is going to give vaping a bad rap.
The Vape Zone is slowly losing business to CraZy Cloudz, owned by Knuckles (Twisted420) and Zeek (Rip Trippers) from all the kids that want to cloud chase.
One day, Johnny is sitting at the local diner and sees a few kids sitting in a booth on the other side of the restaurant, cussing up a storm and fogging up the joint. All of the folks are annoyed and looking a Johnny as if he had something to do with it given that he owns a vape shop.
Johnny feels compelled to say something to the kids. As he is walking over, one of the dudes goes to take a vape,and BAM!!! Half of his face is blown off from an exploding mod. Johnny stands there horrified, but knew that this was going to happen one day.
Later that afternoon, Johnny visits CraZy Cloudz to tell the owners that they need to be educating their customers and warn them of the dangers of sub-ohming. As he walks in, he is shocked to see the prices on some of the devices that CraZy Cloudz is charging their customers. $65 for a Vision Spinner II, $55 for a nautilus mini, $79 for a SubTank. Working his way up to the counter Johnny runs into Knuckles whose every other word is “MFer” and Zeek is sitting behinds him constantly spouting “That sick at zits!!”
Johnny tells him who he is and what had happened at the diner. He goes on to tell Knuckles that education is the key to keep everyone safe and for the rest of society to be accepting of vapers. Offended by this, Knuckles says “Look MFer, we’re having a MFing cloud comp tonight, If you think that you MFing know it all, why don’t you bring your MFing a—up here tonight and show us what you MFing got? Repulsed by Knuckles vulgarity, Johnny says no thank you and leaves the shop, but not before hearing one last time “That’s sick as zits!!”
Back at The Vape Zone, Johnny is talking to his brother Chad (Channing Tatum) about the day’s events and the challenge from Knuckles. Thinking that winning the cloud comp may bring back some business, Chad walks off with a look on his face that he is up to something.
The next morning Johnny wakes up to the phone ringing, it’s his mom crying. “Chads in the hospital” she says, “He blew half his face off at some cloud comp whatever that is”.
At the hospital Johnny walks into Chads room. With his face all bandaged up Chad begins to weep. “I was only trying to help the shop” Chad stated, “The dude sold me a Cherry Bomber clone for $300, two purple Efest at $18 each, a MX v4 for $55 and showed me how to build a double coil using 2 awg and a single wrap. It was reading at .00001, and dude said I would make clouds that were sick as zit!!” Chad continued, “I put the atty to my mouth and threw the switch, and BAM!! Half of my face was blown off. It hurt real badly, but the flavor was amazing! A dense thick flavor with incredible lung fill”.
Johnny turned and walked out of the room with anger filling his veins and vengeance on his mind…. You have to wait for “Vape” The Movie v2 Johnnies Revenge for the exciting conclusion.
