It boils down to what your comfortable paying for knowing it's a preorder from China. Now that there are actual pics and vids out of the lazy assembly. It's up to the individual to decide. No product that is bought should start to come apart, break, etc. Regardless of price. It'll be interesting to see how Vapecige handles this disaster and that will determine which type of reputation they have. AS LONG AS IT DON'T MESS WITH ME GETTIN MY SH@T. I'd spaz out if they pushed the ETA up to fix these problems, just send me a super glue one, I'm cool with it.![]()
Hi Matt,
The first 50kits VTbox200, the 510 thread get loose because of the glue problem.
We are sorry for this. The glue(for first 50kits) used out and we tried Germany made glue on the second batch.
So far it seems the problem only happened on the first batch.
We will have a meeting soon this afternoon and will work out a solution.
will consider pressfit 510 thread instead of glue.
For all orders waiting to be shipped or future orders, we will double test each VTbox200.
We are full responsible for any problem if cause by our company.
Sincerely
Sales Manager

You're still expecting to receive it tomorrow? If so can you try to get closeup pictures of the area where the 510 mounts to the enclosure so we can see if a FDV or Varitube 510 could possibly be used?I just received this from my contact at vapecige.

Yea I will still be getting it tomorrow. Sure I can take pics of where the 510 mounts. I have not found out if mine has the bad glue job or not I am still waiting on an answer. For all I know they could just be in damage control.
Thanks. Another point of interest for me would be the switch button cap. If your able to get the switch cap unscrewed to see if the pcb switch is centered in the opening and if the aluminum / stainless or whatever button is hitting on the LCD ribbon cable or not that would be great. I know Hana had a problem with pinching the ribbon cable when fired causing the display to fail and watching the Vapnfagan's video it looks like the ribbon is pretty close to being in the way when fired but cant tell for sure.
Drill two tiny holes one each side of the SS 510 body all the way through the top of the mod tap the holes made in the top of the mod to give them threads, replace the 510, find two tiny machine screws. And secure the 510 body to the top of the mod will the screws.I honestly would rather wait how ever long it takes for them to do it right and delay all units until they are at least assembled the way they should be. Even it means glue on the magnets and not sticking to their 'no glue' thing lol I would much rather know my 510 is properly and safely secured but that's just me.
How ever I would be interested to hear your 30 min fix if you would be so kind to expand?

I actually think the screw on fire button frame is a perfectly fine design. Fagan is flabbergasted about that frame and that the button it's just floating in there...in fairness to VapeCige, the onboard buttons on the DNA200 are intended to be installed in a floating orientation. VapeCige's design on the buttons is only a problem because VapeCige clearly got the spacing between the board mounts and the button height wrong, resulting in the reported mushy feeling. I've designed four DNA200s and the buttons are not mushy at all; there is no excuse for a mass produced production mod getting this wrong.
On my own 3D print designs I've moved the screen down closer to the adjustment buttons...sure it's not quite centered, but it leaves room for the ribbon cable to stay out of the way of the firing button and provides a larger landing area for my thumb. It also allows easier reading of the whole screen while I'm holding it.
But that 510....whoa! That's a horrible design decision. It seems like they rushed this one out the door.
Why is the preorder back to 20 days?
