So i have ordered the red and black one from gb but after watching the vapnfagan review i am starting having seconds thoughts about getting it. The guys from vapecige ensured that only the first 200 had glued 510 and the rest are press fitted. But the big question is are they telling the truth? Gluing the 510 with epoxy isnt a big deal but having to do it on a brand new mod is. And another thing that bothers me is the lipo battery tight fitted inside the box, i already saw i pic of someone receiving it with a battery cable cut.

I already got my device. They told me the first 50 had the problems. See their statement earlier in this thread. There is more wrong than just glued 510s. Look at my pictures. The backdoor wouldn't close on mine all the way because part of the battery was sticking out. There was a wire disconnected on the battery, its missing magnets and the fire button is terrible.

The door not closing because of the battery isn't a problem, just adjust battery so door closes, and there's already a fix.for the squishy, unresponsive fire button, BUT, everything else that's wrong with your mod is a huge problem. YIKES!

they are sending me a new one free of charge. Which is respectable. If they refund my money and send a new one then thats hella respectable. What is the fix for the squishy button? My worry is the battery is so tight that the cable being disconnected is going to happen more often.

Everyone using LiPo RC batteries is bad idea IMO, but no one wants a SMYGOD 260 size mod. Can we not just chuck the Lipo and put our own 18650 battery pack of sorts in there? Like three series 25r's? Looks like there is room.

Ahhhh to cancel or not to cancel..... I have hours to decide.

Fear of LiPo batteries is overstated...treat them right and they are fine. All of those iSticks have LiPo cells...you don't see them melting down with regularity. And a 3S LiPo does not mean a beastly mod...my DNA200 with a 900mAh Lipo isn't really that much bigger than an SX Mini and it gets better battery performance.

A section of foam tape to be placed around the fire button on the pcb. Making more surface area for vapecige's actuator and the foam presses up from the board firming up the button.

I am soo curious what will be shipped out. Sent them an email about the male connector on the LiPo and that this has to be changed asap and got:

thank you for suggestion,
we will update it.
all VTbox200 will be new version.

I don't believe them BUT I got an answer within 1 day. Never got any reply from a chinese producer / vendor (apart from "how much do you want to buy"). So good thing: They seem to respond and hear our suggestions. So batch 2 or 3 will be fine then!

Still stick to my preorder :)

Maybe a good sign: the ETA is gone from Fasttech. So maybe they revoked the first batch. I should be right in front of the line as I ordered right away after the listing.

Yea I got a reply from FT sayin I can expect my order to to 9/14/15. Looks like they pulled that first batch. Oh well I'd rather have a 510 that stays put.

That's just the original 20 day period. It doesn't mean anything at this stage

The way FT works with pre-orders is they give you a very far out date, in this case yours is 14th September and mine is 15th September. Then there will hopefully be an ETA before that, which for the last few days has been counting up to today.

The meaning of the Scheduled Ship Date is not that that's necessarily when they think it will ship. It's a worst case date. If it hasn't shipped by that date, you are entitled to split it out of a multi-product order and they will make two shipments so you get the other products quicker. They won't do that before that date.

If they had replied to your email and given you a specific ETA like one week from now or three weeks or whatever, I might believe it was correct. But they've just listed the 20 day maximum that's been there for ages, so I think they are just re-confirming the worst case end date. I don't think it means anything.

I am currently still expecting mine/yours to ship out in the next 24 hours. Might be wrong but so far I've seen nothing from FT to indicate the orders are processing any different to the other pre-orders I've done from FT.

The one exception to that is that it's reached ETA dayt and the order hasn't yet changed to "Waiting for Packaging." But I have another product on another order that was also ETA today and that also still hasn't gone from Order Received to Waiting for Packaging, so it might be the they have some general delays today.

If my other product starts packaging and the VT still hasn't, then I might think something different is occurring.

That said, some vendors definitely are delaying their orders. Angel Fire Mods posted this on FaceBook late yesterday:

VTBOX200 UPDATE.

Firstly, we would like to apologise for the delays to your order, however you should be aware that with these delays there are reasons.

There have been reviews done of the pre release VTBOX 200 highlighting some weaknesses on the mod which include the following:

- 510 connector coming loose
- Atomisers not screwing down flush
- Ring around the fire button unscrewing

We are working closely with Vape Cige to ensure that all these issues are corrected before our units are released. Angelfiremods Ltd will not release the products without all issues being addressed and resolved.

There will not be a huge delay before the units are sent to us with all the above problems corrected. We are looking at 3 – 5 days before they ship from China however this is not guaranteed as the units must be perfect before they are shipped.

As always these units will arrive with you and are covered by a 12 month warranty which protect you and your purchase from Angelfiremods Ltd.

We will keep you updated with progress.

We would like to thank you for your patience and welcome any questions or concerns that you may have or wish to discuss.
