I hope they fix the 510 quickly. That's really my only beef. They need to get that right. My SX-mini is my only mod with a good 510, but now I'm spoiled.

Buttons seem fine to me. Not the mush, but the fact that they unscrew.

The device also doesn't look ... huge as the specs suggest. Maybe it's a bit more ergonomic then It seems.

Still shows 1 day on my order

View attachment 483716

It showing 20 days on the main product page, without an ETA, I think means that they sold out of the first batch so anyone ordering now has to wait until the next delivery, with no current ETA just an estimated 20 days.

If one orders when it shows an ETA on the product page, that means you get it in that ETA. So I guess if that ETA only just disappeared recently, they hadn't sold their first batch until now.
I don't see th e same page as you for some reason. But there is a little blue box that says ETD 9/14/2015. Do you see that too. I'm guessing thats estimated time of delivery?

EDIT: I had to get out of the mobile version of the website and switch to full size. I see it now. ETA 1 day. Sweet.

Ohh one more thing regarding people being concerned about the board just having a plastic type cover over it. Have you seen inside other DNA200's? The Beta unit has nothing between the battery and the board. The Hanna doesn't look to have anything either, the battery is held away from the board in the best way I have seen yet with a big piece of aluminium between that and the board.

The screen bend looks fine, it's not at a right angle or anything just a swoop same as you will find on most other dna200 mods.

I think this is why I am happy with it still as I can see how everything has gone in and it all looks like it will last a good while.

BUT for the 510 it's a good design.

Lipo's swell btw when they charge and discharge, up to 15% I have heard but don't quote me on that, there is plenty of space for this to happen, and with a magenetic door it's even better for a bad situation. (I am not liking this lipo idea haha)

The magnetic door is actually a bad idea with a LiPo...too much risk of the door popping off during a drop and exposing the battery to a potential puncture. A screw on plate is preferable. The side venting holes are also an unwise safety decision.

Everyone using LiPo RC batteries is bad idea IMO, but no one wants a SMYGOD 260 size mod. Can we not just chuck the Lipo and put our own 18650 battery pack of sorts in there? Like three series 25r's? Looks like there is room.

Ahhhh to cancel or not to cancel..... I have hours to decide.

Yes you can. But the true problem is the amp draw on a 200W mod. Those 18650's will be screaming in pain the whole way. If you downloaded the 133W firmware and put a battery sled in there I think it would be much better with the 18650's.

3 18650's wouldnt fit in there. the space the sled would fit in is 35mm wide or 1.3 inches wide /25mm or 1inch deep / 78mm or 3.1 inches high.

Keystone 1049 Dual 18650 Battery Holder would fit in there nicely with space for wiring. Must admit I am considering it, Not going above 60W and would be nice to be able to change batteries, just need that and the wiring :)

My device arrived. It would not turn on. The battery door wouldn't close all the way.

This is how my battery door sat when I received the device. As you can see there is some wires blocking it from closing

I am no expert but I suspect this is why it wouldnt turn on

That wire is part of the balance circuit. That shouldn't affect the device coming on. But horrible nonetheless.

BTW...Lion Power lipos? Makes me chuckle a lil bit. High end battery there.

I was thinking the same thing but wondered if the chip was unable to correctly test each cell if it would just default to stay off as a safety feature???

I'd put a multimeter across the positive and negative and find out if the battery is too low to fire the chip. With wires disconnected like that it very well could have drained pretty low.

I'd be very concerned with that battery though. If leads pop out that easily (supposed to be soldered) there's no telling how well that battery is put together. Any of those connections bridge to the positive you could have a fire very easily.

Thats terrible Liquid Dave! Gutting!

My payment has been taken by Gearbest today and from what iv read im pleased I got the black and white one

You and me both. I had actually opened a ticket asking to change my white/black for a red/black then closed that ticket earlier today right before they processed the funds. I'm thinking these aren't going to be of the quality / performance I've come to expect from my favorite China company Yihi. :)

Just because you don't want a big ... mod doesn't mean other people don't.

I think they were rushing get the red ones out, iv seen them for sale already today and they have had a month at least a month of production presumably for the white ones and the reds have not long come out. Although the assembly process should be the same for both lol
