Didn't someone say the issues are only with the red? Or at least the red is much worse?
From what iv seen and read around the loose 510 issue is on the red ones within the first 50 or 200 units. I think the rest of the 'issues' are on both colours. Its annoying to wait how ever I'd much rather a high quality product arrive instead of one which will break or have other issues right from the start and need to be sent back within 3 days and wait 6 more weeks for warrenty replacement / repair to arrive

Honestly only you can answer that for your self. Points to think about;

Vapecige have acknowledged the problems and are fixing it in the newer versions

Stores are delaying waiting for newer versions

If it breaks anyway you still have a warrenty through your retailer and vapecige

It was only the very early models sent to reviewers which had the loose 510 and they are going to be pressed fitted from now on

Colour choice is your preference, I ordered white and black cos that's all that was out at the time but vapecige have already said the white ones should be OK without about the fine coming out from the start.

As annoying as it is waiting on delays but I think its for the best everyone was kicking off about the video by Mr Fanagan or what ever it is and it has given vapecige a chance to correct their ways otherwise there would be even more ...... off people with broken mods. Its really your choice...

That's just the original 20 day period. It doesn't mean anything at this stage

The way FT works with pre-orders is they give you a very far out date, in this case yours is 14th September and mine is 15th September. Then there will hopefully be an ETA before that, which for the last few days has been counting up to today.

The meaning of the Scheduled Ship Date is not that that's necessarily when they think it will ship. It's a worst case date. If it hasn't shipped by that date, you are entitled to split it out of a multi-product order and they will make two shipments so you get the other products quicker. They won't do that before that date.

If they had replied to your email and given you a specific ETA like one week from now or three weeks or whatever, I might believe it was correct. But they've just listed the 20 day maximum that's been there for ages, so I think they are just re-confirming the worst case end date. I don't think it means anything.

I am currently still expecting mine/yours to ship out in the next 24 hours. Might be wrong but so far I've seen nothing from FT to indicate the orders are processing any different to the other pre-orders I've done from FT.


The one exception to that is that it's reached ETA dayt and the order hasn't yet changed to "Waiting for Packaging." But I have another product on another order that was also ETA today and that also still hasn't gone from Order Received to Waiting for Packaging, so it might be the they have some general delays today.

If my other product starts packaging and the VT still hasn't, then I might think something different is occurring.

Yeah that sounds totally generic to me. 9/14 is the date it's always said for you, right? Like mine says 9/15 and I think you ordered one day before.

So I don't think that tells us anything.

That said, I am starting to come round to the idea that VapeCige might have delayed all shipments. Still can't be sure though. I have two open FT orders with products that had an ETA of today - the VT box and another one waiting on an atomizer. Neither of them have changed status today, even though the ETA has expired.

So it might be delayed based on what VapeCige have said, but we c an't read anything into the statuses on FT I believe, nor on that email they sent you. It's too coincidental that the date they said it would ship is original 20 day pre-order time. I bet if I did Check Order, they would tell me that mine will ship 9/15.

Wow man, sorry to hear that. I hope they do actually sent you a new one and i hope the new one to be problem-free.Can you tell us the s/n of your device?
I got number 10. They refunded my payment and are sending me one of their new ones once they are finished. So I am quite pleased. I am going to fix this box and put a smaller lipo in it.

Hoping for the bits coming Friday. The sled is exactly the same side as the battery bay so I have a feeling it will just press fit in. Liquid Dave you could do this to get your first one working?

Why a smaller lipo and not 2 18650 in series?
Edit: unless you go over 130 w

I am too much in love with the preheat feature to limit how much power is available for preheat.

I've ordered everything today to make a 2x18650 sled with the correct connectors so I can swap between lipo and 18650s at will. I'll put the pictures up once it's done. Hoping for the bits coming Friday. The sled is exactly the same side as the battery bay so I have a feeling it will just press fit in. Liquid Dave you could do this to get your first one working?

That is what I am doing I got a slightly smaller Lipo (1300maH) because the one it came with was crammed in there way to tightly. I just got to figure out what to do with the switch and battery door. The battery door just falls off if you tip it upside down lol. I am debating on either hex screws or replacing the magnets

gear bests presale has now extended to Sept 10th. Not sure what this means for the 1st batch of preorders, il ask and report back

I had opened a ticket asking if I could change my shipping to expedited and here is the answer I received from Gearbest. They don't really answer my question but state they don't have enough product to fulfill the orders they have received and as I stated earlier my order was right around the 100 mark or somewhere there about, and I know last I looked they were showing slightly over 500 pre-sales. So if they cant fulfill my order I know there are many more after my order that aren't getting their orders either. And option 3 just kind of pisses me off. If their unable to fulfill their obligation I'm not interested in a refund to their GB wallet, I expect a full refund to my bank account or they shouldn't take out the funds if they're unable to complete the transaction on time.

Mine, from Gearbest went from Processing to Dispatch to Processing.
You order black/white or red/black? They still show red/black to ship in 3-5 days on their site so I noted in my ticket I would accept red/black but I'm not sure if they actually have them or not so waiting to see their response.

I just wanted to chime in about my quick look video

Vape Cige contacted me about a month or so ago talking about there new DNA200 mod and asked if i would be interested in reviewing it. I said sure! Well they finally contact me last week and said they shipped it and to please review it and give them the link once the review is finished, Ok not a problem..

I received the red/black one ( i have only seen the white/black one) i decided to do a "Quick Look" video on the device simply because i know a lot of people were interested in this device and there are many pre-orders going on for it, So i knew people wanted to see it.. I usually only do "quick looks" on popular products and then the review usually will follow 1-2 weeks later..

Anyways... After using it for 5 minutes i removed my RDA and the entire 510 connection came off, I applied no force or anything to it, It just popped off..It had very little glue around the 510 connection and the box itself.. I was rather shocked someone would glue a 510 connection down..

Well during the first look, The magnets on the door all just fell off, Then the button housing/ring (the ring that holds the button down inside the mod) started to unscrew.. I am not sure if the housing/ring (not sure what its called) is suppose to be glued into place or not, I assume it would need to be to prevent spinning off, Also to prevent the ring from getting loose and the button falling out. Another thing that worried me that i did not include in the video is that the lipo battery is a VERY VERY tight fit.. Also the DNA board is protected and covered by some type of clear vinyl tape that is used for electronics, Which i think could have been done better. Usually the chip is covered by a plastic or aluminum cover.

Anyways.. Once the video went live Vape Cige contacted me and said all i needed to do was to super glue the 510 connection.. I told them a glued-in 510 connection was a horrible design and why would they do such a thing. Anyways, after talking with them for about 20-30 mins they informed me that the White/Black version (the one that is on every website) does not have this issue and that the White/Black version has a press-fit 510 connection and the version being sent to vendors and being sold was the white/black version with the press-fit 510.

They asked if i could remove my video because they were getting contacted by various people in regards to these issues and that nobody had to worry because the version they would receive would in fact have a press-fit 510 (still a bad design if you ask me)

Ok well if they knew it had these issues then why did they send the red/black version? or why did they not contact me and tell me this? That makes no sense.. Its not a pre-production unit, That much i made sure of. It was a design flaw that only 200 units had.

I told them that i would not remove my video for any reason because i am simply showing the product that "I" received. They guaranteed me that the white/black version does not have these issues and that they were sending me the "corrected" device.

So i said once i recieve the corrected device and had PROOF the issues were taken care of that i would record another quick look and that i would verify and let everyone know that the problems have or have not been fixed and i would make notes on my previous video.

The statement that they released that everyone sees is dated back to April, Which once again, Makes no sense? They knew this problem was out there, So why did they send these units for review? Also, they say that if you receive a bad unit, They will replace it at no charge to you... Well i thought this issue was only with the first 200 units? So why would anyone get any bad units?

If they have simply said, We are sending a pre-production unit or the unit we sent has issues, just wait for the updated version, I would have done just that but they said review it..

With all that said, Something seems strange about the construction of the mod and Vape Cige's statements.. Once i receive the white/black version i will make another video updating everyone..
