Back to the battery, so what is the power equivalent to 18650 battery, 2x or less 1x?
They claim to use a LiPo 3S 11.4V 1800mah battery. IF that is true, it would be equivalent to 1800mah x 3 = 5400mah in the 18650 world.
Again... IF (!!) that is true. Don't get me wrong, I have one on pre-order and can't wait to play with it, but from what others have said, it looks more like a rewrapped 1500mah. Even then you still get 4500mah. Good enough for me.Wow, that makes it to be the biggest battery capacity in all the rest of the DNA200 mods that is going to be release!

So from a size to mAh ratio they have a battery that is almost double what any other manufacturer in the world can produce. Now that IS impressive, and they don't even make batteries. They claim to use a LiPo 3S 11.4V 1800mah battery. IF that is true, it would be equivalent to 1800mah x 3 = 5400mah in the 18650 world.

Apparently this battery is meant to be custom made specifically for this mod, I do get what you mean but until any of us get our hands on it all we can do is speculate. Fortunately for us there is a battery analysis feature in escribe so with any luck we should be able to get some scientific figures out of thatI simply find it hard to believe that's an 1800mAh. Any 1800mAh lipo that I've seen that would fit width wise would need to be around 85mm tall. One that would fit height wise would be around 35mm wide. Considering that the VTBox200's dimensions are 99mm (H) x 32mm (W) x 55mm (D), the 1800mAh lipo batteries I've seen simply wouldn't fit in the size of the battery housing they have in the thing. All signs really point to a 1500mAh battery with inflated specs.
Man... Those are really big. I'm getting cold feet.
I may switch over to the Lavabox.
That is my exact feeling of the vt200, the one made by a hcigar hcigar vt 200 - Google SearchThese things remind me of the old sony walkmans...showing my age again...
