Wow, that makes it to be the biggest battery capacity in all the rest of the DNA200 mods that is going to be release!
Again... IF (!!) that is true. Don't get me wrong, I have one on pre-order and can't wait to play with it, but from what others have said, it looks more like a rewrapped 1500mah. Even then you still get 4500mah. Good enough for me.

Emphasis should be placed on @Sevarin comment "They claim" as it's yet to be determined what the actual battery capacity is at this point. Some suggest it's a 1500mah battery re-labeled but it will take someone to get it in hand to test to verify what it actually is. Either way even if it's 1500mah I think that's still the most capacity I've seen on any manufactured DNA 200 device. I think it's also the largest box size of any device coming to market as well.

Didn't see your reply. Kinda of duped what you stated there. I have one on pre-order as well mainly due to the price point. I didn't feel comfortable enough spending much more with all the issues being reported in the early adopters forum, then seen the deal and couldn't resist:). Fingers are crossed though and hoping I get a good one. Really wanting to play around with all the customization features within the software. But being the size this mammoth is it won't be my all day device but for the house mostly. Probably give it to the wife when I'm done playing with it as she typically only vapes in the evenings on a non temp limiting device atm.

They claim to use a LiPo 3S 11.4V 1800mah battery. IF that is true, it would be equivalent to 1800mah x 3 = 5400mah in the 18650 world.
So from a size to mAh ratio they have a battery that is almost double what any other manufacturer in the world can produce. Now that IS impressive, and they don't even make batteries.

I simply find it hard to believe that's an 1800mAh. Any 1800mAh lipo that I've seen that would fit width wise would need to be around 85mm tall. One that would fit height wise would be around 35mm wide. Considering that the VTBox200's dimensions are 99mm (H) x 32mm (W) x 55mm (D), the 1800mAh lipo batteries I've seen simply wouldn't fit in the size of the battery housing they have in the thing. All signs really point to a 1500mAh battery with inflated specs.

Apparently this battery is meant to be custom made specifically for this mod, I do get what you mean but until any of us get our hands on it all we can do is speculate. Fortunately for us there is a battery analysis feature in escribe so with any luck we should be able to get some scientific figures out of that

Haven't see different color choices available for retail anywhere yet but they posted a red / black stating "[HASHTAG]#vtbox200[/HASHTAG] [HASHTAG]#dna200[/HASHTAG] will be released next week"

Man... Those are really big. I'm getting cold feet.

I may switch over to the Lavabox.

Vapor Shark DNA 200
3.5" X 1.9" X .94"
Lavabox
3.73" X 1.8" X 1.1"
VTBox200
3.89" X 2.16" X 1.26"

Yeah.... its massive...

Make sure you are looking at the specs, trying to figure out how big something is from a photo, without a size reference can be a silly endeavor. That person obviously has very small hands. I have said this from the first day that they released photos, same person (maybe), small hands... no photos with a good size reference.

All we can go by is the specs.. and the specs show you exactly what you're dealing with. Is it indeed bigger than the other two? Sure... but with the battery potential, is it really that much bigger?

These things remind me of the old sony walkmans...showing my age again...
That is my exact feeling of the vt200, the one made by a hcigar hcigar vt 200 - Google Search

The new colour options are quite cool but I have some vinyl I ordered especially to cover up the white sides and really looking forward to my mod arriving to get it on!

At this point I'm really glad I chose this mod even if the battery doesn't turn out as big as promised it looks bigger than the others available and that means we get to charge less often. If I were to get a 2nd DNA I'd consider the vaporshark as I already own the rDNA and like the size and form.
