Since i cant watch the vid right now. Can someone tell me if everything is as supposed to be. Thanks.

Yep, all good. He did not discuss the power button "feel", but it is basically the same review in White while just stating the 510 is supposedly press fitted and he had no issues with it. No one you are going to know unless you pry the connector off.

Pretty basic review. He did not UN-plug the battery though to show the connectors.

Battery is upward in this 1st photo, does show the short connector towards the board (the male side fixed?)

Old review photo, short side on battery.

At first I thought maybe the reason he didn't unplug was because they didn't reverse the connectors but after looking at it quite a few times it looks to me that they did correct the plug issue as well. Note the the plug with the shortest plastic has the male connectors.
He really should have shown it connected to EScribe.

My device is in my hometown and should be delivered tomorrow so I'll report what I see. Probably won't be able to tell if it's a press fit 510 or just a tighter tolerance and "Glued" unless it falls out but I'll be able to report on the connector, aesthetics etc.. Hoping to do a full battery charge and perform a battery analyzer to get more info on it's actual capacity but that takes a bit of time so not sure when I'll get around to that.

I agree, updated pics above. I think you are correct short side is flipped on this one.

Looks like they cranked out the white and black ones in high numbers (vapenw's 583) so hopefully FT will start shipping them out soon. Let's get this show on the road ALREADY.

EDIT: looks they come with an old version of the firmware, did you notice how long it took for him to reach 200 watts when he held the up button, it was scrolling in .1 watt increments.

I ordered the black white from Gearbest the first day of the pre-order and Gearbest replied to me this morning that they expect it to ship in 2 weeks.....ugh, I was hoping they would be faster than FT

Ordered mine on 8/4 from Gearbest when the only color they had was White/Black. Requested them to change my color choice multiple times between 8/28 - 8/30 and still not sure if they did or not but I should know sometime today.

UPS status is "Out for Delivery"

I ordered the same day, thought about changing the color... But I already have and Evolv ref and an opus... I am looking forward to the extra battery life though. And when all my damn preorders come in, I'll have way too many 200's
Of all the mods I have... Way too many to list, the Evolv ref mod is by far my fave, just wish there was an extension available to squeeze a bigger batt in there.

Well I received the unit about an hour ago. I've had some problems with it so unable to actually vape on it yet. So I'll list what I've come into so far some of which has been previously mentioned in reviews.

SN: 0104 Red/Black

Mechanical "Aesthetics"
The back cover screws were loose and the cover rattling.
The captive cover over the fire button will easily unscrew.
Some tool marks on the inside of the magnetic cover, Inside not a big deal but there
Some very light scratching on the face. Very small and appears to have been there before they anodized or whatever the coating is.
The LCD ribbon cable appears to be being pinched when the fire switch is depressed. I'm a bit worried about this as the Hana's have been known to have LCD's go out due to this.
All buttons are mushy
The throw of the 510 center pin is short. Attaching a Subtank Mini leaves a little over 1mm space between atty and 510 connector. My IGO- W3 that has a 4.5mm length on the threads has about .5mm space under it when connected.
I don't believe the 510 to be pressed from the view from the bottom side but it's really hard to tell. Since I haven't really tugged on it to see how firm it is or used it I'm going to assume it's glued since it's SN: 104
Battery connector is backwards, the male connector is on battery and female on the board
There is no ribbon under the battery for removal as the one shown in an earlier post
Battery is very tight in the compartment which is obvious by a slight kink in the cells from when they installed them. I wouldn't plan on swapping them in part due to the tightness and secondly due to the wires being soldered to the PCB via pads rather than through hole. I've read of pads tearing off the boards on DIY mods.

Functional "Electrical"
Screen was very dim when received due to all 3 cells being below 2v. They were between 1.58V-1.68V
I had to do a USB Recovery as it wouldn't take a charge or show a charge indicator and Escribe was showing .011A charge rate. After USB Recovery It's currently charging at .5A and all cells appear to be matched so I'm hoping once it's fully charged I'll be able to do more with it but at this time I'm pretty limited in it's use.
I've been unable to "Upload Settings to Device" as I persistently receive "Error Press Up to continue"

With the electrical problems I've been unable to really do anything with it yet so I'll leave it on charge for the evening and report back once the battery is charged.
As for the Aesthetics issues they're pretty minimal and most can be fixed pretty easily. Overall I like the looks, size and design of the enclosure with the exception of the 510 connection

Edit: I should clarify on the size. I like the size because it's not quite as big in hand as some pictures have appeared to me. It's not small by any means but not as massive as I had imagined. I do prefer the size / design of the SXmini M much more.

I really don't mean this to sound negative towards anyone but after reading that I'm glad I cancelled and I really hope these work out OK for you guys! Also isn't it actually dangerous for the batteries to be that low?!

Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk

Honestly I wasn't expecting anything different from this so no worries about the negativity. I'm actually happy it's not DOA or blow a fuse or giving me Warranty service or a host of other problems that have been reported on the DNA 200's so far. I'm not dancing in the street but it's not dead in the water at this point either lol. If it's functioning correctly in a month I'll have some confidence in it.

No battery expert but yea it's not good on them. But I didn't test the cells individually with my DMM so for all I know the board could just be a dud and reading the voltages incorrectly. Doubt it though as it's still charging and all cells are reporting to be in sync through Escribe at about 45% charge. I'm also able to "Upload Settings to Device" now so I'm hopeful I'll be able to get a vape from it before bed time. :) If it's working 100% once the batteries are charged I'll be happy with this for the $120 I paid.

I'm now wondering why the batteries are discharging when not in use. I think I've read other DNA200's have similar problems making me wonder if there's some processing that's occurring in the background that's not shutting off when it should and instead draining the batteries while they're in storage.
