I don't post much but I am here every day, usually several times a day, and I just wanted to share my experience yesterday.
I vaped quite openly yesterday at our local Tax Day Tea Party and my sign?
"I SAY NO TO YOUR NEW tobacco TAX !"
Got quite a few positive comments, no negativity, and while I vape in public a lot, I am not and "in your face" type, just usually keep it low key, but have not yet had anyone tell me "NO !"
Vaped in the mall, in the airport, on the plane, in restaurants, all the usual places.
The best part for me personally is that now hubby and I can go to neighborhood poker night each week and the whole group does not have to stop play to let us go get our hit.
We usually have at least 11-12 around a regular 8-person round poker table, so it's a close fit, and no one has any complaints, and these are all good friends, several former smokers, and they would be honest about. They love it that we have found a way to join in without the cravings and nervous tick associated with having a drink and playing cards, but not being able to partake of your nic habit.
Anyway, I love it that i have found at least ONE tax I won't be paying.....
