I posted this a short while ago, but I doubt you've had a chance to watch everything posted during your unfortunate absence, so I'll reintroduce it.

What I don't understand about a kolomeyka is how those people can still move. The tradition is that everyone have breakfast at the bride's house, then another breakfast at the groom's, then a brunch hosted by the best man, then a formal dinner, then a breaking of bread before the ceremony, then . . . well, I don't remember all the details she listed, but it works out to something like nine meals, with toasts during all of them, before you get to the dancing. I like good food and good vodka, but I have my limit!
