Oh Geesh Redd! That makes me need to wipe my face

The old Twilight Zone and Night Gallery were decades ahead of their time. Rod Serling was a genius.

Greetings Princess, Baby, Dave, Dale, Redhat...
Thank you all for your participation in the old beach thread.
Here's something different.
Lyrics: Translation of "La mer" by Charles Trenet from French to English
Peace be with you...

Sun, I am so sorry for your loss. I know that pets are part of the family and losing them can be very difficult. We have three cats, had four, but lost one of them about a month ago. I miss her every day, but time heals all wounds.
Me too, but I'm wiping my face with homemade cinnamon toast!

Wow things have sure come about here and seems like it's getting much brighter, not to say it wasn't bright before but out of the old always comes the new and makes me feel good that this place always has a renewed energy about it and don't know if that's what pri had in mind when she started it but I think she really knew what she was doing and maybe didn't even realize it's potential that made this place for everyone to make it what it is and what a GREAT place it is and never ceases to amaze me by what you all do here to make it shine ever so brightly!!!I was starting out here to say other things but have decided to not and that being of another thread that I just learned about and was very sad to here of it closing and I wasn't really aware of until now because I wasn't paying attention and wish I would have taken the time, even though I was busy(excuses)because it was a really a great thread with great people and still makes me wonder how this could happen, enough said and always so happy to see everyone here that shine on so brightly! Thanks everyone for being here and all the things you do and for being yourselves, as I enjoy this place so much and everyone in it! Thanks pri, Redd and everyone!~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~HUGS~~~~~~~~~~~~~TO ALL~~~~~~~~~~~~~
SHINE ON BRIGHTLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Procol Harum - Shine On Brightly // England - 2004
Procol Harum: Gary Brooker, Keith Reid, Matthew Fisher, Robin Trower...
My Prussian-blue electric clock's
Alarm bell rings, it will not stop
And I can see no end in sight
And search in vain by candlelight
For some long road that goes nowhere
For some signpost that is not there
And even my befuddled brain
Is shining brightly, quite insane
The chandelier is in full swing
As gifts for me the three kings bring
Of myrrh and frankincense, I'm told
And fat old Buddhas carved in gold
And though it seems they smile with glee
I know in truth they envy me
And watch as my befuddled brain
Shines on brightly quite insane
Above all else, confusion reigns
And though I ask, no one explains
My eunuch friend has been and gone
He said that I must soldier on
And though the ferris wheel spins 'round
My tongue it seems has run the ground
And croaks as my befuddled brain
Shines on brightly, quite insane
Shine on, hah, shine on, hah, shine on....
