Although I must admit, I like the music and singing on THIS version much better, and to be honest, the video is about 100 times sexier, because it's simple, and really shows the raw, pure emotion and feeling that Regina puts into her music...

Well, like I've said before, I'm a bit of a nut-case audiophile. This DVD was recorded in Dolby 5.1 Surround, and the recording, production and performance are simply perfect.

On an OK surround system, this DVD sounds great (I've actually used it to sell people systems before).

On a high-end system, it will make you cry, it's so good. This is one of my "benchmark" recordings that I use to show off my own system, and to evaluate other systems, or individual components.

From a music-lover's point of view, this DVD is just one great tune after another, with bushels of energy, joy and emotion in every note.

From an audiophiles POV, this is one of those recordings that will either make you REALLY proud of your rig, or drive you crazy, because it's so accurately recorded that it will show EVERY little flaw in your system. But if your rig is really up to the task, it's like Krall is sitting in your living room, and you can practically smell her perfume...

The piano arrangement is particularly haunting, and Yusef Islam singing this song adds about a thousand different levels of meaning to the lyrics.
