For My Insomniac Pals

T’was the night before Christmas and all over the net
Vaper’s were a’sleepin’, ‘cept one special set

Those Insomniacs were awake and for Santa they watched
Their sleep patterns were odd, one might say they were botched

Such a special group of people, how could Santa ignore?
Twice as many gifts he would leave at their door

And on Christmas morning, they rose one by one
Talking through the night had never been so much fun!

And to their startled eyes a wondrous sight did appear
For Santa had left each a six pack of beer!

Snacking and drinking, they guzzled it down
Not a one was upset, not one wore a frown

For sleep now they would, like the angels in heaven
Not a cycle nor motor for hours would be rev’n

They all took sweet naps that lasted for hours
Some on the couch and some in boudoirs

And when they arose they found to their delight
The tree was all aglitter with ornaments and lights

Their dinners were served by mice dressed to the nines
None could fault that - dinner without a line!

And as the day grew short and shadows drew nigh
They peeped from the windows and peered at the sky

Would Santa be back? Would he make a second run?
Should they stay up all night so as not to miss the fun?

But the day had tired them out, the effects of beer did linger
Ingesting the big Christmas dinner put their bellies through the wringer

So forget they did as they half-dozed in their chairs
The magic would wait, this was more than they could bear

And as each breathed a sigh they thought of Christmas trends
And knew the most important was the love of good friends

For without a friend, life is lonesome and dreary
Thank YOU my friends, for making my life cheery.
