Isn't that a relatively "new" thing... to have coyotes there - in the city I mean? I recall a video a few years ago showing one in a Manhattan shop of all places. And yes... even though they "should" be more scared of you, if they come at you give the ol' bows an' glitter treatment . Actually what they do, it seems to me, is that one acts like bait, and lures some unsuspecting pup into a "gang" of waiting coyotes - Kirin is big enough to fend off a couple but not sharp enough to know his limits.

I've heard "mudbugs" but preferred crawdads... makes them sound more palatable - then again crayfish sounds even more so End of the day they're mudbugs that taste really good
