Just something I thought I'd share. I was walking home from work last night down one of the main arteries in town, vaping away on my lavatube. As I'm walking a guy shouts out "YO!" I'm used to random strangers yelling things at me from cars, so at first it barely registers, but as they pass me, the guy in the passenger side leans out and pumps his fist at me unity style. And in that raised fist was a box mod (wish I knew my box mods better, only saw enough to say it looked cool and had an XL carto with drip tip). I hardly ever meet other vapers out and about, so it was kinda cool. Anyways, it made my night.

I'm starting to see a few more "cautious" vapers out and about too. Had a sighting on King street earlier this week, a college student "absolute stealth" vaping on an eGo style PV. I didn't say anything to her, although she did stare at my Silver Bullet as she walked past. I hope I've inspired her to maybe vape openly..

We should unite! I was sitting in my car at a red light, when lo and behold in my rear view mirror I saw a young woman frantically making hand gestures at me, as if to say "ooh, ooh, I know what you're doing! I know what you're vaping on there!" Clearly she recognized my LavaTube.
The whole incident got me to thinking that maybe we should have some kind of Vaper's Hand Signal (a VHS?) to avoid this type of frantic hand gesturing that I had just witnessed. I looked up the American Sign Language site, to see what "vapor" was, but it's too complex, and slightly lame. Any ideas? Or is this entire idea kinda lame?

LOL this reminded me of the "hand signal" scene in Team America.

I don't care what people think I wear mine proudly around my neck.

The best look I got was a couple years ago I was at the bus terminal waiting for the driver to return. I was using a standerd 510 as she walked up I took a quick puff and dropped it into my shirt pocket. The look on her face was priceless her eyes popped open and her jaw dropped.

I get a lot of strange looks if they have the courage to ask I fill them in and give them a business card from some of the venders I've done business with. I just wish all vendors would included business cards with orders. I know not everyone would give them out but I'm sure enough would to cover the cost, cards are cheap advertising.
