Woot! Glad to hear that there are at least 4 people in WA state that are e-smoking, although it seems we're all a bit far apart.

And I agree. I absolutely LOVE vaping in my car! I do get a little nervous though, vaping in front of cops. I keep thinking they'll pull me over and be a bit skeptical about what I'm "smoking." :p

I also live in Washington! Now we know we have at least 5 here! I live in Kingston! Yes, we are still pretty far apart. I am slowly converting other smokers, 9 so far!

Just one day at a time, one less analog smoker at a time.

Man I wish I had a car! I would probably try to ash it out the window as well, haha. Or onto my dashboard which was my habit of doing so in my last vehicle, which was practically held together by duct tape so it wasn't really doing any damage..

Wonder if anyone's going to try to throw theirs out the window o_O

You know I haven't seen anyone in the whole city with these besides my brother and his wife, and 2 of my friends who lost theirs twice and gave up on 'em.

Well, you have atleast 3 more in Tacoma WA converted via Hawaii strangely enough. My family there think my switch over about a month ago is nothing short of amazing. When I told my sister all about it, I had been reading ECF for a while and was using all these terms she didn't understand and she said "Wait, why do I feel like I fell asleep in a cryogenic chamber and woke up in the future?"
I hang out in my car and eat my lunch sometimes and Vape my head off. I have had a cop jokingly harrass me about it (didn't notice I was parked next door to a head shop)

Hey I live in Bonney Lake! I'm waiting for my first e-cig, the DSE901 to come in the mail. Funny enough, I remember passing a car and seeing them smoke a "cigarette" with the windows up. Even more confusing is the light on the end of the cigarette was lighting up and going completely out! Now I am able to connect those dots.

You Washington smokers, what has been your experience vaping in public? My friends like to chill at Shari's in the middle of the night, so I plan that I will be able to feed the nic ..... while inside. :D

Guys, it's safer to fix your e-cig on a lanyard. That way you can let it literally drop out of your mouth if need be - if you need to have both hands on the steering wheel or in the unlikely event of an emergency.

Happy Car Vaping!

That is a wonderful idea! I am sure they still sell those little eye glass neck ropes in the rainbow colors.... I think that is an awesome idea. I need to put mine down all the time while driving and while at work.

I love vaping in the car! I do a paper route that takes me about four to five hours to complete and I always smoked like a demon while doing it. I was incapable of driving without a cigarette.

I roll my papers up while I'm driving to save time. It's kind of awkward, especially while holding a lit cigarette. Back when I smoked I would accidently knock the cherry off into my lap all the time, drop my cigs or lighter, burn my seats, burn paper sleeves (ugh melting plastic) ash all over the floor accidently, you name it. Plus it stunk to high heaven in there.

Not anymore now that I vape exclusively! :D

I once accidently started to throw my Ncig out the window when I first started vaping though...
Thank goodnes I didn't. :D

A previous post in the thread mentioned vaping at a gas station, and the accusation that he'd blow everyone up.

After thinking about this for a moment, this DID strike me as a legitimate concern. Gasoline vapors are in the air, and the flash point on gasoline is low (40c, well below the temperature in the atomizer) with the autoignition point around 250C.

It would strike me as asking for trouble, using a PV around a gas station.

I have to agree. Why make people think you are smoking around gasoline? Ecigs don't need the negative publicity. I vape in my car all the time. It helps me cope with traffic.

Not to worry. Gasoline vapors are heavier than air and hug the ground. Right down there where your at least 300c catalytic converter is sitting.8-o
