Vaping and kids...

So question....

I have a 4month old, and was curious about when exhaling. Is there residual nicotine or health concerns with exhaling or vaping in the house? I wouldn't smoke with him on my lap, but are there any harmful effects? I've been searching the forums, and have been having a difficult time finding anything.

The short answer is: if you wouldn't do it with a cigarette, don't do it vaping. vaping is much less harmful, but it's not entirely safe (especially for an infant).

Probably most important is that with vaping you will not have "Third Hand Smoke" residue on your clothes, carpeting, bedding, etc... Still probably best to vape only where there is no sharing of air with the infant.

but as a parent myself, here's my 2 cents:

i definitely wouldn't vape with a baby on my lap...in fact, i wouldn't even vape in the same *room* with a baby that young.

however, i would feel comfortable vaping in another room with the door closed.

ya i wouldnt vape around baby or any children. just them seeing the act nvm the potential harm.

Im more concerned with my 3yo imitating me smoking analogs. She doesn't imitate me vaping and I dont smoke or vape around her indoors.

My guitarists roommate has a 2 year old son and i don't vape around him. If he is in the living Room i will VAL in the kitchen but if he comes in the PV goes away.
