My thoughts are if vaping cuts down the number of cigarettes you smoke in a day, then that is better for you. Smoking has smoke (duh!), tars, carbon monoxide, and thousands of other toxic chemicals; vaping does not, at least not in the quantities that cigarettes have.

It's not how many cigarettes that you smoke a day that's important; it's how many you DON'T smoke that is.

There are already a few threads that discuss this topic. Any cig you don't smoke is a win. But on the flip side 2-3 smokes a day and the damage is done and may be the one that tips the scales for smoking related health issues. It is a personal choice we have all made. There is only one ball in play and it's in your court.;)

If you are smoking a lot of cigarettes every day and vaping then the consequences are dire. And it's not going to be to vape it's going to be the cigarettes that's going to do you. But like the other folks have responded if you lower your cigarette consumption you're still winning. You should be able to quit cigarettes with the vape.

I'm sure i read something somewhere that stated exactly that - vaping and smoking is worse than just smoking. As a human being with a working brain i dismissed the statement as being illogical and contrary to all available data. It's like saying drinking whiskey and water will get you drunk quicker than straight whiskey. Does not compute.
