Vaping at Disneyland!

Hubby & I vape all over Six Flags. No one has said anything yet. We see tons of others as well, so maybe the staff has been brought up to speed on it.

my boss just back from a trip said he vaped discretely on the plane right at his seat. sent the vaporizer with his carry on baggage.

I think that's pretty bad if you can't go a plane ride without vaping...

Just my 2 cents, I'm not trying to offend anyone.

I was stopped from vaping OUTSIDE a starbucks.
Of course I carried on and asked to see a clearly posted sign that prohibits an electronic cig.
The guy gave up after everyone was more interested in the sweet scent of my vape than his bossy move...

This is why every public establishment will eventually have no electronic cigarette signs.

I only saw 2 other vapers while I was there. When I did vape in the smoking section the smell from cigarettes was horrid. I was doing stealth puffs in the bathroom stall to avoid the smoking section. Not one smoker asked about my device, which was a little surprising. Maybe they knew about them.

I'm not a Disney guy but I'm looking forward to vaping on the beach and boardwalk and in the amusement parks at Coney Island this summer. As some of you might know, Nanny Bloomberg banned smoking in these places a couple of years ago. Enforcement hasn't been that vigorous - the cops have better things to do than to hassle every person walking around with a cigarette - but it'll be nice to not have to worry about it at all.

Hmmm... If this is really Starbucks' policy, perhaps the vaping community ought to organize a boycott of that chain and their overpriced, burnt-tasting coffee.

I don't think it's unreasonable for them to ask people not to vape INSIDE their shop but to ban vaping outside is just ridiculous.

No, this is just a shody establishment that feels they can do what they please just because they have a name brand.

This is why every public establishment will eventually have no electronic cigarette signs.

I understand that some places are against vaping but the last thing I want to do is be forced to stand in a stinky smoking area with smokers.

I'll stick to bathrooms as well!

can you not walk around disney land Florida smokeing if you want? just wondering as I was in disneyland paris last year and smoked alot walking around but was careful enough not to smoke to close to the kids etc but never was looked at strange. even had a smoke with some staff once who were quite nice, were there for 4 months summer work just. what make me think it was fine was because the bins and table areas had ash trays but Florida might be different, just wondering?

I pray we can all change the way people see the e-cigs.... As long as they're not hurting anyone, we're adults and should be able to enjoy our selves without someone trying to take away our large sodas.... ohhhh wait I meant e-cigs.......

the wife and i took our ProVari's to the movies... sat in the top row and were able to vape during the movie.. blowing the vapor down or holding it until there was little on the exhale. very nice!!

I'm an Annual passholder at Disneyland and there have been a few times where a cast member has told me that vaping is only allowed in the smoking sections which I think is ridiculous. I haven't seen any official policy, so I just tell them ok and walk off and vape on.

I was at the DMV last week, with my provari and a Phiniac tank...I'd been there over 2 1/2 hours, and needed a vape....I've come to realize in my 60 years that if you ACT like you are doing something WRONG, you will be TREATED like you are doing something wrong...so, I just vape, like I wasn't doing anything wrong!!!..no problem...2 days later, the same place (I had to go back with my birth certificate because of Patriot Act)...and the same LONG WAIT....after 5 minutes of vaping, one of the clerks came running out..."Ma'am, there's NO SMOKING in here." ....."oh, no, I'm not SMOKING, Dearie! this is my Personal Vaporizer, see?" .... "Oh, I'm sorry!" She said as she scurried back to her desk....I think she assumed it was a medical device...Provari is BIG enough to BE a medical device...and....at MY age, that's POSSIBLE...she didn't ask any other questions...and I wasn't FIBBING...

As a smoker and season ticket holder... I never smoked in smoking sections at disneyland or DCA... I'd just cup in in my hand...

I guess that makes me a little bit belligerent.

But there is no way in hell, that now as a non-smoker, I am going to go stand in the smoking section... because I'm vaping outside.

Thank god Disneyland recently passed what I'd call the "expensive, but doable" threshhold... and is now just ".......ing overpriced"...

I have an annual pass and vape it up at the Tragic Fiefdom. The trick is taking a device that in no way resembles a cig, but is also small and stealth. I take my epipemods gandalf with a small tank and drip tip...I can vape right out of my hand.

It is the exhale that gets you in trouble. However, with a stealth device your plumes seem to come from nowhere and of anyone notices, they aren't done being confused before you walk clear by them. I advise vaping on the move. Also, find a spot under the trees, below the train station, at New Orleans Square. No security there and light traffic. Get a mint julep and listen to some jazz while vaping like a sir. Otherwise, Pirates of the Carribean and Haunted Mansion are the best. Long rides, dark, smoky.There are also many nooks and crannies in that area to turn up the voltage. Yes, New orleans Square is the best place in the park to vape. Also, get some A/C, a comfy seat and escape the crowds with a vape at Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln. Highly underrated vaping experience.

I deeply want to do one up in the Enchanted Tiki Room...but it is usually pretty tightly packed in there.

I was vaping at a MLB Baseball game... an usher saw my plume and was heading my way... i puffed on it again as he got closer... and saw its clearly NOT a cigarette (provari) at about 10 ft, he turned around and walked away.. he seemed a little disappointed

Seeing this thread is toooo funny. I wanted to stop smoking (for good! I always said I'd do it on my next birthday...every year...) because we were going to Disney World this summer. We leave Saturday ! Anyway, I've wanted to stop smoking forever and this just gave me a boost because we'd be going, taking my daughter the first time, I don't want her and my parents and grandparents have to stop and wait for me to smoke in the nasty smoking section and viola! Vaping it is for me! I can't wait to go on Saturday and vape there allllll next week! And yes I plan to vape in the parks...discreetly and respectfully of course. That's the whole reason I switched to this vaping thing!
