Anyone ever have any issues with vaping at a walmart?

After just buying my eleaf i decided I was going to vape it at walmart like I have several times over. This time how ever the greeter guy decided to tell me that i wasn't allowed to use the device in the store as I walked out to grab my wallet from in my car. Talking to the store manager however, He said there was nothing in the store polices about vaping and I could do so as I wished. No one ever said a word to me when I had my Spinner or my Vamo, but now that I actually have a box people start speaking up.

Just because it's not as harmful as cigarettes doesn't mean you need to vape in walmart. You're putting a lot more vapor out than your spinner did. It's not so much as "being against policy" as it is being respectful for other people in walmart. I can go 5 minutes to an hour without vaping, depending on how long I'm in there. Surely you can too. I don't vape in stores so I haven't saw a problem, but i have seen someone vaping in publix get called out by the manager for doing it.

Edit: Reading this back, I may have come off as a bit rude. I apologize if I did sound like that.

I live in a small town, so Walmart is about only place to shop. They know this, though, and corporate must have given them the lay of the land, because at our WM, you get treated very nicely, and if you need help with anything, the employees drop what they are doing to help you.

I went to a fews WMs in other states and it was horrible.

I suspect because we are in WM "home territory", we get a lot more visits from the big guys, and it shows. Pretty much all the WMs in Arkansas seem different than WM in other places. The place is clean, you can practically eat off the floors, and everything is well stocked and organized.

I reported the stores I went to in other states, compariing them to ours, and letting corporate know that they need to step it up a bit outside of AR.

I never vaped in the store...I usually leave my vape gear in the truck when I am doing errands. I know so many people in there, I"m sure everyone would notice me while they were waving or stopping to chat.

I live in Walmart central. There's more cows than people where I live, but I have 3 super Walmarts within a 15 minute drive. So I'm a frequent visitor. I still haven't seen anyone vaping in the cereal aisles so I may have to inaugerate them.

I've never actually vaped in a store. I did vape during a 3 hour medical test a few days ago. I just hid it whenever I heard the nurse coming, and held in my inhales so there wasn't any visible vapor when I exhaled. They had no idea. I also noticed they had smoke detectors everywhere including the restroom. This hospital doesn't even let you vape outside.

I vape if I have to go in there (ugh). I just hold it in, or make sure no one is in the aisle. I always go way late at night, when children should be in bed. I really, really dislike children, and wal-mart children are the most terrible kind, it seems. Maybe it's the parents. Though, the wal-mart I go to now in Reno is much, much better than the one by my old place in southwest Houston!!! I vaped there too.

I don't vape in stores or anywhere indoors. I think it's rude. Sure you might be legally allowed, but do other customers want to breathe in your vapor? I think it just makes us look bad as a community, and we have enough people against us already. I've been around people who were doing it with flavors that smelled pretty bad, so I understand that some people might not want to inhale my preferred juice. It's up to you what you do but you're not doing any of us a favor by using it indoors in public places.

obviously you have never been crop dusted by other customers..... vaping can be considered sort of like a gas mask :)
