Yep. There's a city up here that is now banning vaping in all city owned buildings and services because some guy thought he'd be cool and blow clouds on a crowded bus.My 2 cents, it all boils down to being considerate of others. I am in no way a huge fan of people, public places, social gatherings, etc. but I do try to be considerate of those around me. If it is a place that doesn't allow smoking, then I don't vape. Just because I vape DOES NOT make me special in any way! I'm not an exception to any rule or policy, I am just as liable for my actions as the next. If you do vape in wal mart, publix, etc. then shame on you. So continue to think you're special and when the hammer drops it will be in part because of you, but you'll never admit it.
On both sides. My comment applies to anyone that thinks they know what's best for others. On both sides? Or only on the side of those who do not vape when it may offend others? Those who vape without regard to others rights are being self-rightous.
It has nothing to do with smoking. You can't force people to agree with you just by drawing negative attention to yourself. People link smoking to vaping because most vapers used to smoke, or still do, and they both provide nicotine, and they both are addictive, and both cigarette users and vape users will smoke or vape anywhere they think they can get away with it because they can't wait an extra 5 minutes until they are outside because they are chemically addicted to a substance. And you are just promoting that addictive slavery to a chemical stereotype by thrusting your vapor in other people's faces indoors, forcing them to breathe in whatever chemicals you think is safe for them.I repeat : IT'S NOT SMOKING.
All you saying that vaping in public is giving us a bad rep have it backwards. Most of the non-vaping public have no idea what vaping is about. If they know anything, it's probably just the lies they've read in headlines (vaping worse than smoking, vaping leads to smoking, etc.) that's always accompanied by a pic of a young person (20ish) blowing a HUGE cloud.
THAT'S ALL THEY KNOW. We have to take the opportunity to show them that's not all there is.
I have NEVER seen someone blowing clouds in any public place other than parking lots or vape shops.
I am a grey haired grandmother and mod womper. I vape respectably in public. I welcome the opportunity to educate non-vapers.
Keep treating vaping like smoking - just like the antis do - THAT'S the fuel to the fire. "Well look - even the vapers think it's just like smoking so it should be treated like smoking!"
Honey, I'm just going to run in and grab a Box of Cereal...............
Oh crap almost for to grab my Mod from the console.
Maybe people are becoming addicted to the vape
Nope, can't play ball this weekend. Haven't figured out how to swing a bat and hold onto my Mod.
What? I have to put the mod down to serve in tennis - I ain't learning.
Yea, I know it sounds silly, but so do many arguments/discussions these days.

I go in, get what I need, check out and leave. I don't leave my vape in my truck or on my bike because of heat/cold, but I've never had the urge to use it while shopping.
Not even with threatening them with eternal suffering if they do not agree with you?You can't force people to agree with you. Period.
