Vaping at Walmart

Reading this thread reminded me of an incident I had last month. I was out of town and visited a vape shop in a mall. While in the vape shop I was sampling flavors etc. My friend and I walked out into the mall, without thinking, mod still in hand, I absent mindlessly began vapeing. My friend pointed out, uh....your vapeing in a mall. I was embarrassed. Quickly put it away until I was back outside. I don't feel this makes me self righteous, just polite.
Yep. There's a city up here that is now banning vaping in all city owned buildings and services because some guy thought he'd be cool and blow clouds on a crowded bus.
I take my rig in with me where ever I go.
Lately, though, I find myself so focused on getting in and out of these stores, vaping becomes an afterthought.

On both sides. My comment applies to anyone that thinks they know what's best for others.
It has nothing to do with smoking. You can't force people to agree with you just by drawing negative attention to yourself. People link smoking to vaping because most vapers used to smoke, or still do, and they both provide nicotine, and they both are addictive, and both cigarette users and vape users will smoke or vape anywhere they think they can get away with it because they can't wait an extra 5 minutes until they are outside because they are chemically addicted to a substance. And you are just promoting that addictive slavery to a chemical stereotype by thrusting your vapor in other people's faces indoors, forcing them to breathe in whatever chemicals you think is safe for them.

I wish we had super walmart in long Island, I bet Antarctica will get one before we do.
Being a rural dweller, my Walmarts are very boring and ordinary. I don't see children running wild or people wearing strange outfits. Well, maybe some of the college students, but hey, they're college students. Its like the last time in your life to be a kid sometimes.
Still, I've never had to be in a store so long that I've had a nic fit. I go in, get what I need, check out and leave. I don't leave my vape in my truck or on my bike because of heat/cold, but I've never had the urge to use it while shopping.

I won't vape inside any store or shop. That's just me. If I can't control myself for the time I'm in the store, something is wrong with me.
I'm an ex WM employee. I will never set foot in one or spend money there ever again. There is currently a super WM opening up about 2 blocks from my house. I'll gladly drive down the road to Fred Meyers or Safeway.

That's exactly what I've been doing. It goes with me for the sake of temperature, not to be used.
Who needs to walk into a Jade Helm center to casually vape? I'm looking for deals on windshield wipers and cheap sunglasses.
