I vape at work. I started vaping when nobody is there, because I work 3rd shift this was easy. I'm usually around until 11am and people started asking what this thing was on my desk that looked like a pen. so I showed em, nobody has had an issue yet but I don't make a big deal about it vape giant clouds, its just sitting on my desk most of the time

So far I've gotten a great reaction, and have no issues taking a puff when I need one, I work in a similar environment, 3 people in my room cubicle style and none of them care.

I work at a hotel on the front desk most of the time. Perception being everything in this world, the idea of vaping while working will never happen. That being said, I've used my PV a few times in the "back office" area a couple of times mostly just to show people what it looks like in use. I just use it on breaks with a higher nic strength. I still go outside near the smoking section (it's near the only other good outside break area). I go outside on my breaks regardless of the weather since I spent the other 8 - 14 hours of my work day stuck inside looking out. I need my fresh air escape.

There 7 of us vape in our office and adding more. I even buy one if that person always missing from their workplace to smoke. Is very crucial not to be missing a lot in my work environment. So i approve anyone to vape in our office. Will add a video to see how much vapor is produce.. lol

I too vape at work, mostly at my desk but I work in a computer lab environment too and do it a little less in there. If the big boss is around, I don't do it. But, it hasn't been an issue for the 6 weeks I've been vaping. I was the only smoker before at the small company I work at.
Whenever I see someone say they are the only smoker in whatever crowd, I always think California.
And look there, sure enough, California it is.

in our offices we are allowed to vape. the head of the organization is familiar with them, and has no issue with them.
early in our relationship i asked the man i work for if i could use my pv inside, and the result was not so positive. if he's sleeping, i'll vape. otherwise i just go inside. once it gets cold again maybe i'll try asking once more.
the other lady i work for has no issue. each time i'm on shift i ask if it's alright, and the answer is always yes. here's to hoping she doesn't say no anytime soon.

I stealth vape in my cubicle. I had one complaint when I was using a mocha flavor so I try and get my flavors approved by my neighbors. Its mostly Cinnamon right now and who doesnt like the smell of christmas?!
I know... it's funny but they do have more of a smell than you think.

I am allowed to vape at work. All the non smokers love that I am not smoking anymore and even enjoy the slight fruity smell that comes off the vapes (I don't do tobacco type flavors at work, I feel that it leaves a slight odor in the air). I will even vape in the break room, no one says anything to me and I will ask that they let me know if it disturbs them.

I have a lot of smokers at work, the other day I had even a couple non smokers wanting to take a vape. One guy I had to track down lol. I have at least two guys looking for a PV as we speak, they never experienced what "real" vaping can be. They have done the usual disposable ecigs and other cheap cigarette look-alike PVs.

I think more than anything I love answering questions and bringing awareness to vaping. People are truly interested and even excited that this stuff works.

Most asked question: "Soooo, why does anyone bother smoking anymore?"

I cannot contribute to the work subject since I work FT from home, but I love finding other areas of my life that I can now vape where I could never smoke.

My daughter and her 12-yr-old son are my biggest vaping supporters. They love that I no longer constantly run outside for another smoke and come back in stinking. Last weekend, we took a long drive with an overnight hotel stay and they specified ahead of time which flavors they wanted me to bring for the car and hotel room. Grandson likes fruit-loop and cookie flavors, and daughter requested tropical fruit/exotic drink flavors. Not all my favs, but I did not care because life is so much better vaping away on long car trips and in hotel rooms, having my family approve it, and knowing that I am not endangering their health.

Great thread, and I totally support all of you that are trying to educate your employers and coworkers on vaping.

That's an awesome story about your kids, I always thought that would be a great experience for a parent. I figure that a kid would be less likely to start smoking analogs if their parents vaped.

I work for big brother health care and on the first day during orientation a woman at corporate gave the no smoking policy speech and specifically said no e-cigs either. I asked her a follow-up question "what about if its without any nicotine?" she still said no. The corporate office (HR) is half way across the country and the sub-company that I work for and we don't follow all of their rules 100%. That being said when I feel like vaping I go outside to the smoking section on the parking garage. When I'm at my cubical and I just need a quick hit, I'll stealth vape. I hold the vapor in for a good 10-15 seconds and exhale nothing. I just tell my manager that I have 'turned the vapor off' which seems to have worked, but I don't do that very often (going away from my desk is a nice reprieve anyways).

I sit next two 1 smoker and 1 ex-smoker, so they are pretty laxed about not reporting me if they hear my carto crackle. ultimately though, I would stealth vape with a Stardust / Ego Vision (whatever they're called now). They are super super quiet.
