Quit smoking all most 3 months ago. I've since become a full time vaper and luv'n it more and more everyday. Scary... hahaha Ok! So I sell new and used cars. I vape all day at work. I vape in my office and other areas of the dealership when no one else is around and it's all good but when I vape outside with all the people I used to smoke cigarettes with I get vibes from certain people that they don't approve of me vaping. Almost like looking at me as if I were doing drugs. Maybe it's the vape pen with a picture of a guitar on fire on it. Or maybe my guilty conciouns. lol Just wondering who else vapes all day long at work and how it's accepted in the work place. Lucky for me I sell a lot of cars and write my own ticket so I can pretty much do what the hell I want. So just wondering how vaping go's down in your work place. :vapor:

I vape all day at work. I work in the family business and my dad thinks it is something I should wean myself off of but he is cool with me vaping, as long as it is in the shop and not up front where customers come in. I am good with that. I realize that not everyone likes the smell of my chosen liquid for the day and customers pay my bills, so I concede the point and vape in the shop.

Unfortunately for me no tobacco or nicotine products of any kind are allowed. When I am "on campus" and on patrol it does not really bother me all that much other then the occasional craving, I am an officer at what is basically a minimum security prison that houses at risk youth, they are taken out for short periods of time occasionally and are allowed analogs in special areas but we cite them for smoking outside of those areas. Do I wish I could vape at work? Sure, but it just makes it that much nicer to come home and sit down with a drink and enjoy some vape time.

I have to go outside with the smokers. It's been kinda sad in a way. One guy brought in his ego/pro tank set up. A coworker liked it and bought one, then myself and another coworker got them. In 2 months time there were 15-20 of us vaping. Now there's only like 6 of us that consistently vape and I'm one of 3 that doesn't smoker here and there. All that to say is I don't usually get odd looks or questions now but the general consensus in my area is vaping doesn't work. I get why many of them went back. The learning curve can be tough on this stuff and it's much less convenient than stopping by the gas station for a pack. Something about leading a horse to water comes to mind.

Cool. I don't vape in front of customers either. It just looks wrong to the general public. Especially when you live in the middle of redneck country. Kinda looks like your taken rips off a mini bawng. lol

I'm lucky enough to work in a secluded walled off corner amidst a sea of cube farms at a somewhat popular .com. I can thank the paranoia of my boss for the seclusion as our department (I work in infosec) and HR are the only offices with any privacy. My boss is at the desk to my left who vapes at work and my other coworker at the cube to my right is a smoker and doesn't mind or vaping. It's a tobacco free campus though so we don't vape when visitors swing through. Unfortunately the convenience has turned me into a constant vaper instead of only while drinking like my former analog habits were. That and after getting decent at rebuilding and changing the flavor from OK to great and a habit into a hobby also contributed to my all day vaping.

I own a small salon studio space, and I vape in there all day. Only time I won't is if I have young children in there, just because of the possible negative reaction from parents. I do stealth vape when at work, so I don't fog up the room (the space is 120 square feet). Most of my clients are happy to see I'm not smoking, and seem to respond positively to my vaping. If it ever alienated clients, I would stop.

My company has thoughtfully lumped e-cig use in with smoking so I am not allowed to vape in offices, company vehicles or the locomotive.

Luckily, vaping doesn't smell like cigarettes.

For some reason, chewing tobacco and the associated spit cup/bottle is openly accepted. Dip spit is so nasty to me. Just gross. However, for some reason that is allowed everywhere. Go figure.

i vape all day at the office. no one can really see me where i sit so i just make sure the vape doesn’t create little clouds over me. i’m the only person in my office that smoked so i used to feel self conscious whenever i'd go out for a smoke break, especially when i’d see one of my colleagues walking by when i was outside. so now i just vape in the comfort of my cube and they’re none the wiser.
