Dear James, I hear your pain and frustration and there are times in life when it just plain sucks AND then there are times when it is easier. You have a roof over your head and food in your belly, perhaps it is time to say goodbye to the roof over your head and the food in your belly and put on your shoes and start walking. I am not being mean James, I am simply saying move. There are homeless shelters, there are food banks, there are jail lock ups, there are adventures waiting for you. You will get hungry, you will get discouraged AND you will met wonderful kind hearted souls along the way. You will face some tough times James, really tough times BUT you will gain much.
Perhaps James now is not the time for the walk but perhaps it is. Only ou know this. When walking, aim for high tourist places they often need dishwashers, or servers, carry only what is absolutely essential, call home once a week, call collect and hang up before they answer so they know you are okay. Consider this idea James, you don't have to do it of course but it is perhaps an option, perhaps head east or west to dip your toe in an ocean. keep a record of your days and nights. Best to you James
