Thanks for reading this, the board has been a massive help to me and I need its help again if possible

Have become completely confused a frustrated with vaping.

Quit smoking after a 15 year habit almost over night and vapid happily for about a month!!

All was going well and I found a flavour I was delighted with and upgraded from a realis to an ego with boges!!

Then suddenly headaches, dry mouth, ulcers etc. Tried changing nic strength, flavours, pg, vg etc and have not been able to improve things. I drink tonnes of water and tea. All my stuff is from liberro and lib flights so should be top quality as I believe they are very reputable.

If I vape I feel the nasty side effects almost immediately and it's ruined the experience. These side effects clear up as soon as I stop vaping. ATM I am back on fags despite two months off them.

I hate them and really want to get back to the great vaping experience I had for the first months.

Has anyone got any idea if I've missed any thing or if I could try some thing else!!

I have an appointment with a gp tomorrow to talk about stopping smoking and I will take all my vaping stuff to show them but expect they will just offer me gum or patches which I'm not interested in at all.

Why can thousands of people do this with no trouble and I can't!!!!!!!!

Really appreciate all the help and patience ive received on this board!

Holy WOW!! I can't imagine what could be the issue. Have you tried all PG or all VG juices just to completely rule those out? Maybe a different juice maker?

No gonna order some buy liberro and lf are supposed to be the best and lots of people use them with no probs.

Would it be any thing to do with not changing carts enough or using cartomizers should I try tanks or something else?

Gee, I'm sorry you are having these issues. For the dry mouth, some have used Biotene with good results. It's a mouthwash for dry mouth. You can find it in most stores quite easily.

I have a friend who mixed her own favorite juice, which had apple in the mix. She developed some mouth sores as well and tweaked her mixes to lower the PG and also omitted the apple for awhile, and it helped her a lot. Are you vaping any citrusy juices, or perhaps apple by any chance?

Wow, I am not sure of what else you could try.....perhaps an organic VG juice. The problem with this is you need to eliminate one thing at a time to isolate the culprit, and that could take some time.

I wish you luck, and feel so bad for you. Keep coming back here to let us know how you are doing. Perhaps you could help someone else who ends up with this issue down the road.

I see you have only been vaping for a month. I don't know about the headaches, but dry mouth and ulcers may just
be part of getting over not smoking anymore. Many people suffer various health problems for the first few months
after starting to vape.

Another thought is your weather, is it cold in Oxford? Has it been cold since you started? In the south of USA, the
beginning of cold weather means much lower humidity. I always suffer from headaches ( dried out sinuses ) and
terrible cotton mouth for the first couple of weeks when cold weather starts. Couple that with just starting to vape,
and you may need to drink more water than you think.

But, as usual, it is always best to check with your doctor.

Not sure what that is...but OK. I doubt it would have anything to do with your hardware unless you're cleaning it in rubbing alcohol and not rinsing it out good with water and letting it dry or something similar.

You could always try dripping on your atomizer. If the problem is from cartos, that's another way to find out.

Yes but had really bad ulcers in that time so couldn't really do much. The ulcers were there for a week when I vapid a very small amount each day then swapped to cigs and they went in a couple of days. It seemed they wouldn't heal until I stopped.

As for cold weather there has been a heatwave in Oxford and just had a holiday in south of France lol

Tomorrow I'll try a fresh cart in my realis ( smaller than the ego) and an all pg flavour and see how I do!!

Hate analogs now!! ( not enough vapour or throat hit lol)

You know, with the back and forth between analogs and vaping, the posters above are likely correct. It's probably symptomatic of smoking cessation. You might try doing both for a while and weaning yourself from the analogs slowly. I hate to tell anyone to smoke, but it may well be that you either do that or tough it out. I'd bet a dollar to a donut hole that it's side effects as mentioned by other folks.

EDIT - Another thing is put yourself on a regimen of multi vitamins. It really does help with the side effects of smoking cessation.

The usual suspect is dehydration. It is unbelievable how much water it takes from your body to vape. That's the one big downside of vaping. If you don't get it by drinking your body has to rob it from your blood, tissue, etc. It can be very serious.

Second guess is a PG or VG reaction.
Third guess is that you are allergic to the filler in the cartomizers.
Fourth guess is that you're allergic to the flavors

Happy to send you 3ml samples of pure pg and pure vg sample at your nic level with no flavor. Try each one and see how that works. PM me if interested. If that seems weird, I understand. However, you need samples of your nic level juice in a PG base 100% and a VG base 100%. Vape it in a clean atomizer rather than through cartomizer filler. Add each thing a step at a time. over several days. You'll figure it out. I'm so sorry you have to smoke again. I hope you're back to vaping soon.
