I was wondering if anyone else vaped constantly.....seems like all the time, when they first started out. It just seems like I can't put it down, and I'm doing it from the time I get up till the time I go to bed with very few breaks in between. Is this bad, and should I slow down? Any comments/opinions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance :)

i'm in the same boat! i've been vaping for the past 5 days none stop. I started off with 36mg nicotine strength and now down to 18m which is my current sweet spot. I go to the gym about 4-6 days a week and my cardio has been improving dramatically. So far so good is what i tell myself :)

i do the same thing. vapeing about 3 1/2 months now....seldom put it down. personally, i feel my nic level is not high enough, but i got a care package from my niece with various flavors and strenghts, and they are old, so this could be it for me. i did order new juice in a 24 today, so part of my problem will be solved. i just love holding it and vaping away!

For at least the first 2 weeks and possible longer you're going thru withdrawal of the alkaloids. Scientists did a study. They got rats addicted to nicotine and place a bowl of nicotine in the cage- rats didn't self medicate. They then addicted the rats to nic+ alkaloids and placed a bowl of nic+ alkaloids in the cage- rats made a beeline to to bowl and began self medicating immediately. Realize also vaping is a far less efficient nicotine delivery system because the vape/ nic particles are too large to enter the bloodstream via the lungs- most vape/ nic transfer occurs in the mouth and nasal areas. We all went through this phase and yes and although worrisome your vaping will taper off eventually. Remember to drink lots of water.
The Very Best of Luck.

Edit: First month I was prolly vaping 60+ ml per week of 36 mg juice 8-o

I just started vaping too and I got 24mg juices because I didn't want to "hurt" when I transitioned. Next orders I'm going to lower the nic strength because I like vaping so much that I do it a lot MORE than I was smoking. I'd like to be able to vape and NOT increase my nicotine intake... y'know? It's the behavioral habit and taste of vaping I like where with the cigs I didn't enjoy it anymore and only did it to stave off the hurt. YOU ARE NOT ALONE! :vapor:

Yeah......... That sounds like you have vape envy JK. This happens when you wonder how much others are vaping and have to match up JK. I went through this as well, but have since subsided. I really don't know how, but I eventually only vaped when I felt the need to. Such as when I'm in the car, at work, at the computer, on the phone, and generally anywhere I can fit it in.
Did I mention JK?
On a real note I have found the longer I vape the less places, and times I do. Hopefully this will happen for you too. If not........Well then I think I'm coming down with a case of vape envy.:vapor:

They make the things taste too good. It's not fair really.

The only problem I come across is if I continue vaping til late at night, I have a harder time falling asleep and some slight anxiety at times, probably from the excessive nicotine stimulation. The trick is to just be conscious of it. Keep it out of arms reach so you can't habitually stick it in your mouth without realizing it. Helps me from overdoing it.

Same here. I also noticed that - for me - the cadence is different. With smoking the thing is burning so you have to get your puffs in before it burns down. With vaping I notice that I take a couple of puffs, chill / do something / whatever, puff puff puff, repeat.

Given I switched to vaping (now 9 weeks in) after 20 years of smoking without even batting an eye and having no meaningful trouble with the switch, I am not worried at all about the frequency or if I am possibly taking in slightly more nic. My guess is I'm actually taking in less as I'm using 18mg liquid and only going through ~3ml / day.
