maybe try changing up the pg/vg and determine which one is bugging you (if that is the cause?) I got headaches at first with 50/50 and I ordered some 100% VG and I have been vaping that or that mixed with a 50/50 flavor and zero headaches now. Not sure if it will solve it- but a starting point? Also Goonie may be correct in vaping a little less :) I usually go through 3-4 ml max in a day and I was a heavy smoker.

I vape 6 mg...I get headaches and wondered if I vape too much, I usually vape about 5 ml a day

How long have you been off analogs? I ask because headaches are a common side effect of quitting smoking. Your best bet is to stop vaping for a little while and see if the headaches go away. Mine lasted for almost a week, regardless if I was vaping or not. Also, believe it or not, you may not be getting enough nic. Ultra lights average .5 mg nic per cig. At 2 pad, thats 20mg nic that your body is accustomed to. If you're using 6mg at 5ml per day that's actually only 12mg-18mg you're getting due to the fact (theory) that your body only absorbs between 40%-60% of nicotine from e-liquids. Hope that helps and good luck.

I may be be able to offer some help here with regards to your headaches as I was experiencing similar side effects while vaping. After reading through the forums to see if others were experiencing the same effects. I heard things like I was "vaping too much" or perhaps I may be having an allergic reaction to the PG juice or at the very least some sensitivity. I had also heard that perhaps a significant change in nicotine levels in my body could be causing this or perhaps I was ingesting too much nicotine during a single vaping session. While all of these things could be the source for me it wasn't any of these things. In fact I learned that I was simply vaping at too high of a voltage. Not only was this reaking havoc on my atomizers causing me to burn through them at an unusually high rate (5-10 days) it apparently was causing these mild dull headaches. I after finding the chart below I quickly learned that that I was vaping at too high of a voltage. ADJUST your voltage to within the appropriate range and this should help you too avoid headaches (and avoid replacing your atomizer every few days). I'm a happy vaper once again! Remember much of your success is about trial and error and finding what works for you. If at first you don't succeed, don't give up and go back the nasty analogs. Try a different approach. You will eventually find what works for you...Hope this helps!

Just a thought, are you a coffee drinker? When we stop smoking and start vaping sometimes we change our daily rituals, or miss things. Sometimes people don't have the morning coffee because they are concentrating on vaping, or replace coffee with water because they are worried about dehydration.

One of the side affects of caffeine withdrawal is... headaches. If this is the case, make sure you get your morning coffee at least, and you should do a bit better. Strangely, your body may not need as much coffee as it did when you were smoking, but it will still kick and scream if it doesn't get enough.

This was my thought as well. Decreasing or ceasing caffeine intake causes the dullest, throbbingest and most incurable headaches I ever had.

When Mrs. IBCR was preggers with Thing #1, we switched to decaf coffee. I couldn't do it, but she got past it in 7-10 days. And, she wouldn't even take an aspirin to deal with the headaches. What a brave, strong woman...

Since caffeine and nicotine have somewhat similar effects on the nervous system, it might be a combination of lower than usual nicotine and caffeine.

Yes, incurable is the word I would use. Paracetamol and Ibuprofen won't even touch it; the only cure is to feed the caffeine monster.
