Just wondering if you guys do this outside or just in the home. I can see myself using this inside all of the time. I can see myself using it in my car as well. And in some situations I can see myself using it outside where a normal smoker would. But has anyone really tried to use this indoors where it isn't widely understood what it is? I'm curious what the reactions would be, and I'm not sure I would feel comfortable using this in some situations, but I have nicotine gum for that.

I vape everywhere I go, even at my desk at work. I explained to my co-workers what it is and demonstrated it for them. None of them mind and they're quite happy that I don't smell like a stale ashtray anymore. If even one had objected though, I wouldn't do it. I don't vape inside stores or restaurants because I respect that not everyone will understand the difference. Other than that, I vape freely and I've only had one situation at a shuttle stop where someone made an ... out of themselves by doing the coughing routine and made rude remarks about smokers. I turned to her and her friend and said "This isn't a cigarette and I'm not smoking, but thanks for faking!" Both of them walked off with red faces.

I don't vape in public places where smoking is not allowed, but that's more due to habit and routine than any concern for breaking some law. The big difference for me is that I vape in my office where I wouldn't before out of respect for clients and stinking up the place.

A little respect goes a long way. People need to remember that acting out (I can vape wherever I want, FCK YOU) doesn't get you anywhere in the long run. But then again I'm a parent of a teenager so the whole acting out thing is one of my pet peeves, LMAO!

I'm allowed to vape at my desk because nobody minded. I vape in public where smoking is allowed. Some of my batteries have funny color LEDs (green, blue) but my PV's look similar to cigarettes or a bit larger. I sneak vapes in the bathrooms or stalls of places you can't smoke (if I know I will be doing this I use a juice or juice mixture that will leave a scent of something else like vanilla or peach), hold the vape longer in my lungs then exhale down toward my chest.

I vape in public without a problem, but I do it within reason. Like if I want a hit at the grocery store, I stealth it. No need to get hauled off by management and have to explain myself. Same thing goes in a restaurant (we have a smoking ban here). Bathroom stalls are awesome...no one is looking up. ;) I used mine at a club too, asked at the entrance. I was told it was fine. :)
