True, we don't know if its harmful but we do know that those of us who have switched from smoking to vaping breathe better, feel better, and have more energy. I do think it all need regulated, but with regulation comes taxing and government overseeing everything. That's good and bad. I think some studies and testing needs done so we can stop speculating. Since I know I feel much more healthier than when I was smoking, I actually feel like I did way before I started smoking, so I'm sure there may be some negatives to vaping, there is more positives with vaping and the ingredients in ejuice is also found in others things we all already use...

I'll post this again:

So it appears you trust the FDA to test and regulate vaping supplies. They first tried that in 2009 when they tried to ban vaping nationwide and confiscated thousands of vaping shipments to both suppliers and consumers. They also lied about the very limited test they performed.

Right, everyone will then know that it is just as dangerous as analogs. That is the perception we want to project.

I don't know about other vapers...but I know my wife says she doesn't like the smell of the black honey tobacco I occasionally vape - so with that in mind I wouldn't vape in a small, enclosed public space out of courtesy to others. It isn't an issue of health in that regards. I fully get (and support) the industry's desire to make others understand that vaping isn't a health concern for people - but at the same time I'm still conscientious of others (after all, would you want to sit in proximity to someone with really bad body odor...or bathed in stinky perfume?).

I see both sides of the coin and make personal judgment calls in accordance. :)

I've had very few issues vaping in my hometown; I live in a country where smoking is widely accepted, and laws about vaping are literaly non existent. Usually a few words will convince the first-time skeptic (worried about passive smoke) you occasionaly meet. If he's a smoker, it might pique his interest. A lot of people know about e-cigs and have a neutral to positive opinion.
I vape on public transport and inside buildings freely without comment, which seems to be an issue in some countries/locations.

However, I actively try not abuse this liberty; I don't vape if there's kids -'s a bad example-, and irregardless, keep my clouds from a considerate to minimum level, depending on the situation and place. If someone asks me not to do it for reasons, I comply (Or maybe vape without exhaling cheekily).
If I see a smoking ban being enforced on a premise ( Which is rare, indoor smoking laws aren't enforced), I will ask if I can use my PV.

In conclusion I use my rights to vape, but always keeping in mind other people. I think it's simple but effective.

The only reason I think it needs testing and more in depth studies is so they'll shut up about it! Apparently they couldn't continue confiscating or it would be banned now

They got taken to court by Njoy and SE and lost 6 different times. But that just slowed them down. Now they are proposing "deeming regulations" that could have almost a "ban" type outcome if fully enacted. With the FDA's history and the fact that Obama appointed a Big Pharm lobbyist to run the agency, we can't trust them at all.

Many of us support vaping openly most places but respectfully. If you are vaping a strong smelling eliquid, it makes sense to place distance between yourself and others. Many of us vape eliquids that have virtually or no smell at all.

I stealth vape at work except when the supervisors who are fine with it are there, then I take an occasional drag in the break room. But work doesn't have a policy on it, and when they do I doubt it'll be positive thanks to the environment that I work in. Usually I take it outside though because I miss the socializing I get with the few smoking friends I have. On the plus side they're getting interested in e-cigarettes because of mine and I hope they make the switch like I did.

Outside of work I treat my vape like a cigarette for smoking purposes, but I don't go to bars, and I never smoked in restaurants, always waiting until I was outside to smoke. Just never really cared for the cooking food and smoking smells mingling.

LOL I love to vape in public! Especially in restaurants after a good meal. If I'm seated near other people I refrain, but if there is a good distance away from others, I am not harming them, so I will vape. When I was a smoker I abstained smoking when it was legal to do so virtually anywhere because I knew that the tar/smoke really did leave a residue, which isn't fair to make others clean up after my habit. This is very different. PG allergies aside, it takes a lot of vaping to really effect someone who is 10-15 feet away from you. If I'm in WalMart at 2AM and there's nobody near me, why would it be wrong to vape in public?

What I do is ask permission if I can. People at the office don't mind and my sister permits it in her house when my little niece is asleep. I don't do it inform of my niece because I don't think it's a good idea to expose her to vapes. There is an amount of nicotine in the cape we exhale. Also, it's a bad thing for kids to be in front of...I don't want to be a bad example for her or have her want to try it later.
I also think it's important to realize that many people are not informed about the e-cigs and are afraid of them so I respects their wishes not to cape around them.

I started vaping 2 days ago and still treat it like smoking.
I visited a pub this morning and asked manager if it was ok, only to be told that they preferred I didn't as said pub chain hadn't made a final decision on wether to allow it or not.
I do agree that vape shouldn't be forced onto others so I'll carry on vaping descretly.
