Well, welcome to ECF! I would say "It sounds like you'll fit in here" but I think you've already demonstrated that, LOL.

I have a moderate (but expensive and also diverse) set of setups. I haven't counted, as I don't really want to, but heh, that is because if I have a smaller number than I think, I will go "I believe I need more," and also, if I have more than I expect, I'm going to feel bad.

However everything (DIY start up and stockpile costs kind of aside) cost less than my smoking habit (not necessarily JUST smoking itself, we used tubes, loose tobacco and an injector machine) but if I included health costs for the last 18 months I smoked, pretty much with non stop pneumonia, well, I'm still ahead, despite some stockpiling and etc. LOL.

If I kept every mod I ever bought... I would probably have a closet full. Fortunately, they all break on me sooner or later, with the exception of a Sigelei telescoping mod that I still have for God only knows why... it's not subOHM and I only do subOHM now, lol. Right now I've got a Vaporesso Revenger, Ego One, and an Arymi M1. I've got a Sigelei T200 arriving today that I'm really excited about... my first touchscreen mod! Yay! :) I also have an Eleaf iStick Pico 75W that is on its way from FT... thanks to this forum ranting and raving about them so much, I'm wanting to see if it can replace my Ego One for portability so I no longer have to use a throwaway device.

Welcome to ECF! Beware of how much this forum will get you to spend! lol

I was about to warn you that these people love to spend your money, but it appears from your stockpile that you might welcome their encouragement.

Hi All, Im new to this site, joined over the weekend. Name is Richard and i come from the UK.
I just wanted to see how many of you guys and gals here are hooked on vaping. Over the 4 years ive been vaping, i have aquired approx 85 different mods and approx 110 different tanks, RBAs and RTAs etc.
It has become rather an obsession with me ( i dont think so but my better half does).
Im always looking out for the new mod and tank to come out.
Hopefully im not the only one lol.

I went through a buy all the mods phase too for the first few years. I'm in a lucky position now that I know what I want and have the gear to supply it. I do still keep my eye out for new stuff, and I have been circling the bottomless pit that is squonking for some time.
Im still in the phase although im begining to run out of room now lol.

I would consider myself an occasional collector but as the things I liked started to get discontinued, I became a bit obsessed with getting those things that fit my style. I'm probably more in the hoarder category at this point when it come to new buys, more obsessed with hunting down deals on disappearing stuff than anything new.

My mech/unregulated collection is pretty much wrapped up with an Epipemods epipe and a Microstick clone being the last additions. I don't use mechs much but it's nice to have them just in case and some are works of art.

When it comes to regulated devices I only like a handful and have accumulated multiples of them.

I suppose one can be obsessed with gear without buying anything, but I prefer thinking it's not an obsession until you have one more than your currently have. :D
Quite agree. Ive bought some really nice mech mods in the past only to find that when i go back and look for them they have been discontinued. I tend to surf and if i find something that catches my eye i buy there and then incase its no longer available at a later date.
Just imagine, in 30yrs time some of these will be collector items lol.

Hi Stols001, thank you for your vote of confidence. I like your view on your number of mods. Difficult option to count or not to count lol.
Ive done the same, have a really nice collection plus spares and tools and juice etc and its still cost me less that my smoking did. And as you say, much better for our health.
    Happy vaping

Ive been saving up for a little spend. Here in the Uk we have a Vape exhibition coming up (Vaper xpo). Im off to it in London on Sunday. Should be really good, lots of exhibitors etc.
Its been over a month since ive bought anything so may have to have a little spend up.
Last year i got a bronze Tesla 120 Speampunk at the show really cheap so fingers crossed there will be some good bargains.
Will also be intresting to chat with the guys and gals there about the stupid TPD regulations.

Have a wonderful day! Make sure you come back and give us an update.
Hi Possum64, thanks. Had a really good day. Always good to get together with Vaping guys and girls, lots of chatting about juices and mods and whats new etc.
It was a full venue, lots of people attended and as always, lots of vendors there. I got some wicked juices......loved the Dr Frost range.....different flavours with hints of menthol.
Usual vendors there, such a Vampire Vapes, Dinner Ladies, Thor etc and lots of new up and coming vendors.
Was very interesting to learn about the new pod systems and Nicotine salts..... not sure i like the pod system devices (seems a lot of waste to me). Sadly not many mods for tanks to purchase but i guess that was just as well lol.
Was definately a good day. Another 4 weeks and im off to Vaper Expo in Birmingham. Should be another really good day

You lucky duck Richard! Sounds very interesting. At least you got some new juices to try and you might pick up a new mod or tank at the Birmingham Expo!

Hehehe thanks Possum64. Yes, always like trying some new juices. Fun starts when i find some really nice ones then try to replicate them when DIY mixing. The Dr Frost ones were really nice.
Have got me fingers crossed the Birmingham one has some good Mods for sale.
