Yeah, I’ve got a few more than one and definitely more than enough.

To me it's a hobby with several aspects. The electronic toys, the coils in the RDA sometimes, the myriad of flavors which I'll never own all of, the math and chemistry, the "culinary" part - making flavors you and others like, the strategy of the right percentages, the learning from failures. Noting but strategy!
Smoking was an obsessive habit. Vaping was the cure.
I never wanted to stop smoking, but vaping allowed me to continue the motions without all the dangers and poisons of tobacco.
I never intend to quit vaping. Vaping for me is a way to enjoy the actions of smoking without the health related dangers. 8 years later there's no obvious health hazard. I'm hoping that it stays that way.

Definitely agree Todd Geer, there are lots of aspects to keep you interested. I really enjoy the making of the coils and mixing of the juices, so much so I've been working on doing a website here in the UK and my main focus is doing the calculators for E Juice mixing, coil wrapping, Nicotine calculators, ohms law and power checkers etc.
Vaping obsession?! No. I rather hate my vaping habit. But I do need my nicotine. I am hooked up.
My obsession isn't so much vaping as it is making sure I'm never forced back to cigarettes. If that requires stockpiling, so be it.
From a point of view of professional psicology, a collector is fulfilling a compulsion.
This compulsion is born from an underlying fear, which hasn't surfaced at conscious level.
Collecting items which counteract on that fear, maintain a satisfying inner balance.
As a quick example, if you have a fear of dark or you can't bear murky situations, you could be collecting flashlights; if you are a control freak or a narcissist you may be collecting vape mods; and so on.
Please note I said "may" because there isn't always a psychological underlying motive, quite often a collector just needs a pasttime, an escape from the daily routine. It is up to you to establish if you have a weakness, or you just like to play with vape mods, as I like to do.
A quick test: next time you want to buy a mod, just don't.
If you have a weakness, over the coming days you will feel delusional, as you were robbed. If you are normal, you will quickly forget it, and may be buy a newer and better mod some time later.

Just thought i would give an update....just received my new mod from Fasttech today. I ordered the Smok S Priv in a Rainbow colour. Looks a wicked mod. The skull eyes light up lol. 225 watts of power...should be good enough. I also got a matching eleaf I just S tank in Rainbow too. I will be playing with it tonight lol
I'm hooked on vaping. You are hooked on toys. All good though. Happy shopping.
