Opppps, made a mistake in the previous message. Vape Jam was the one a couple of weeks ago at Excel. The one in NEC Birmingham next week is Vape Expo. Am off there Saturday week with my savings so should have a good spend up. Planning to pick up some good concentrates and may just add to my mod collection lol

No wonder you can't keep them all straight ;)
    I'm jealous - haven't even been to a vape shop yet - let alone a vape jam/expo. Prolly a good thing :D
Go to one and enjoy. I find the vape shops here only really sell juices with the odd few mods and tanks. The exhibitions are a different kettle of fish..........lots of juices, concentrates, mods and tanks etc. Its a really good day out and great being with fellow vapers

I tend to go completely overboard when I focus on a hobby. Especially new ones. Guitars, snowboarding, watches, golfing, knives, vintage wine, vaping, etc.

Smoking wasn’t a hobby for me at all. It was just a dirty addiction. I guess some people collect expensive lighters or cigarette cases, but that is likely pretty rare. Buy a pack of smokes, pull out a Bic lighter, smoke, repeat.:)

When I started vaping almost 3 years ago, I quit smoking for good the day I picked up my first vape kit (30W eLeaf with a Nautilus Mini). I started buying more mods and tanks and was building RBAs and RDAs and making my own Juice within a few months. I thought mechs were cool, so I started buying high end Nemesis, GP Paps, HoH and Gus mechs. So after about a year I had a couple dozen mechs, a dozen or so good regulated mods and a few dozen tanks (Nautilus to Kayfuns to Kabuki to Steamcraves).

Anyhoo, in the last year, I have barely bought any vape gear except the odd bunch of coils for my Crown III and Beast tanks when they are on sale, PG/VG and a couple of my usual flavours when I run out. I only vape 2 flavours (one 90% of the time) and my wife only one.

The technology hasn’t really changed in the last 12-18 months, so I am happy with what I have and am more interested in vaping to quit smoking vs. it as a hobby now.

Vaping is a lot more fun than smoking from a hobby perspective, but I see many vapers go nuts with buying at first then mixing and building but then kinda level out once they find what works for them.

I think vaping is a great hobby, but it can be hard for me to go bonkers and be super excited about the latest and greatest in vaping for years and years. :)

Im at that level now, been quite a while since ive bought any new mods or tanks. Im still as keen on vaping but do struggle in cycling all the gear i have. As you say things have not really moved on that much over the last 12 months so am more than happy with my current gear. Time for an addition tho i think lol

I actually sold a bunch of my stuff on ECF a few months back.... Provaris, Kayfuns, Kabukis and a ton of other stuff. Had quite the cache once I pulled everything out. Quite the market for used gear as long as it isn’t ancient.:thumb:

I have about a half dozen really good 200-ish dual 18650 mods that are serving me well. But I would definately buy another mod if something really cool catches my eye.;) The stuff I am using just won’t break though!

Ive not thought about selling any of my mods before.......dont think i could part with any of them lol.
Im up to around 85 different mods and still use the majority of them. I tend to use my mech mods while im home (dripping) but use my APV's during the day.

A good day had at Vape Expo on Saturday in Birmingham (UK). Lots of good juice to be had, lots of freebees and some pretty good mods and tanks for sale. I bought nearly a ltr of juice at a really good price....makes a change from diy mixing. I got some really wicked flavours. I couldnt possibly leave without treating myself to a new mod or tank so bought the Smok Mag kit it Gold. It comes with the TFV12 Prince Tank. Was a knockdown price of £35 for the kit. Am looking forward to the next one lol
