vaping on the cheap

okay, so i am wondering what is the most frugal way that you think a person can vape AND be satisfied.
How I think is the cheapest way, is 2 650 batteries 1 1000VV battery (when i need variety, or an extra umph). A couple of regular attys and a drip tip. I think that dripping saves on juice...
When it comes to juice, I have noticed that the less expensive companies are REALLY hit and miss and the midgrade are the way to go.
So, what do you think?

Well before the "you get what you pay for" posts start... I don't even know how long I'll vape for. Seriously, in year I may decide its done what it was supposed and leave it. I really don't know.

On juice - hit and miss is a good description on the cheaper ones. There's one cheaper one whose juice I love and vape every day. And then others... nuff said.
I read a post from a veteran here a while back who really likes Dekang. I'd like to try the real Dekang actually. I know not everyone likes it, but some love it.

At any rate, I have found their juice to be very consistent, as long as you get it from a vendor who buys it pre-mixed from the factory, and...it's cheeeeeeap!
As for hardware, I'd say a couple of 900 or 1100mAh eGo/kGo's and 2 USB chargers (never have one of anything!). I'd go for the 900 or 1100 'cause they're only a few bucks more and worth it in battery life. VV would be nice but, going on the cheap, I'd say not necessary simple satisfaction. For atty's, I go with a dripper and a pack of cartos. Hmmm, pretty close to what you said

I happen to be a fan of dekang juice although everyone else seems to think just because they invented this stuff they don't know ...... I would suggest trying a few before you decide.

I must mention that many people are completely satisfied with a good mini system like the mini Volts from SI, and that can be quite a bit cheaper...at least in the short term (the batteries will simply not last as long as an eGo class...assuming no premature failure).

i have been leary of trying dekang since plenty of people say that it taste perfumy, and well the first time I cleaned my attys, iused rubbing alcohol, 90%, rinsed and blew out, let dry and still tasted it.... So i think my taste is unluckily sensitive...
Also, i posed the same question in another place, and they said Krangers (kangers... whatever) where the way to go.... any thoughts on that?

You will get hundreds of opinions from hundreds of people on here. Look at the long term people most times they have tried a lot more stuff than someone who has 4 posts.

Kanger t-3 is my experience. Is not perfect but when you wear it out for your tastes there is a replaceable part you pop in for less than half the price. Lasts longer than any clearo I have tried and that's vision ce2,3 and 4 and Bauway don't remember if it had a number. Just need to do some cold hits regularly to be sure it's wet enough so won't burn the little bit of wicking at bottom. The original poster mentioned atty's and by golly I believe I'm headed that way. At least for my expensive WTA flavors and for DIY. I don't know enough about them yet to know if they would add up cheaper than my most often, tank and ss replaceable cartos. 3 and 6 ml glass. 6 ml is cheaper than using the 3 ml though. I vape for the nicotine and if I got really broke I'd learn real quick the ease of using just base plus nicotine 36mg. Suck on hard candy simultaniously for flavor! No joke. So what's the cheapest easiest attomizer that is effective uncomplicated for a new user. I need one actually, but I'll also go all over the place on this site trying to figure that one out next.

True that. I got into some mods as a celebration thing and now vape every size pv.

Well I like Kanger cartos because of the bottom coil. But some folk prefer vertical coil cartos. I use both kinds but just have developed a preference for one. Trying each kind is a good way to see what you like.

If you don't mind waiting the requisite 2-weeks to a month to get it directly from China, you can get it ultra-cheap by going through VaporHawk. If you go this rought, only buy from the vendors called Zainy and/or JackedVapor...they sell pre-mixed stuff from the factory. All the other's mix their own from DeKang's flavors and can vary quite a bit.

Wow - much appreciated. A friend of mine here has bought from Hoosiers but I didn't realise he had Dekang. My only concern with ordering direct from China is that I read something about new regulations they have there that could affect e-juice shipments. I am a bit unclear about that at the moment tho.

I am going to get some Dekang and try it. I always spend ages humming and haa-ing over flavors...

I must mention that I have not tried very many of DK's flavors and none of their fruity stuff. It has been my experience that those are the types that tend to be perfumey...really can't say though without having tried flavor X, what it tastes like (to me).

Very true, Tiffany. We have "raffles" at our vaper meets and it's one of those "if you buy a ticket, you'll get something" raffles. Great fun and a cool way to try out stuff you might never buy...and it helps support the group.

Faylool mentioned DIY. If you really want to keep the expenses down long term, DIY your juice. There are quite a few DIY-ers here on ECF who have gotten their juice costs down to under 10 cents per ml.

kiwivap mentioned "you get what you pay for"... Only anecdotal: One of the most expensive attys has been the least expensive to run for me. My first hh.357 lasted 8 months and consumed over a liter of juice before it died. My second one has been running for about three months so far and still going strong. I've killed a lot of ~$7 attys in under a month, so the hh.357's have been about half the operation cost of others for me. -- Along with that idea, lots of people really like their rebuildable attys and rebuildables come in a lot of different price ranges now. One purchase plus a little bit of occasional effort and the rebuildables can be perpetual and therefore less expensive to run over the long term.

Indeed...rebuildables are the only way we can currently gain any sort of quality control in our vaping supplies. Six is also spot on about spending a little more to save in the long run. I've been using 2 HH long barrels and a Bulli atty for the past few months for my drip sessions and in that same time period I would have gone through 10 or 12 "regular" 510 attys at least. I know it's tough sometimes to scrape together $20 for one of something that would get you three of a similar item but of less quality, but we all gotta make that first step sometime.
