Fair enough, I don't blame you. :)

As far as down time, that is the downfall of all addictions. You have to keep busy. The less you use your hands, the more you will vape. You sound a lot like me. You need something to do, or you will keep vaping and vaping.

About a new device: Your NEBOX is an AOI, and All in one device. No tank, the tank is integrated into the device. Are you opposed to using a small mod (around the size of your NEBOX or maybe smaller) at work that is smaller than your NEBOX but requires a tank, like your spider?

I think you definitely need to heed mine and others' advice of increasing your resistance and lowering your wattage. I am both a MTL and DL vaper. I vape well at 1.2-1.5 ohms at 13W using Kanger OCC and SSOCC coils and other coils and rebuildables. You are getting spitback and gurgling because you are flooding your coil. SO you either need to up your wattage a bit, which will mean a hotter vape, or you need to increase your ohms and decrease your wattage to get a cooler vape.

No, I'm not opposed. However these 4 ml tanks are just not enough to get me through the day. That is why I love my nebox so much, it holds 10 ml. I don't know why they changed almost all tanks to hold these measly 4 ml or maybe a bit more.

The problem is I have tried higher ohm coils in the past, and they burnt right away, The higher ohm coils are always nickel I think from past experience. I prime them like they say and even use the nickel wattage selection that you can choose, and they seem to burn right out, like immediately. Maybe I have gotten some bad batches but I really have not had any luck with higher ohm coils. I usually always just use the straight wattage selection on my device and not the others, ni, ti, ss.

On a side note do these other selections really matter? The plain wattage selection seems to be pretty good.

What is a nebox? No offense, but you do seem to drop your vape stuff a lot. You should consider a smaller (cheap) device for situations like that... keep the good gear at home.

It's a 20 dollar device lol. Been around for years and are like indestructible. They also hold 10ml and are slim and easy to hold in the pocket.

I most certainly think it is some sort of Stomatitis, and it may be and allergic reaction. I see people smoking at 90 watts and above and I share with them my story and they have no problem with it. I have tried vaping at 90 watts and its so hot I don't know how people can even do it.

I have health insurance. It's time to go see a dr., ughh maybe even have some tests run. But I know the answer, stop smoking... well thanks doc I can't. I have read there are also maybe a mouth guard you can wear that will cover the spots on the top of the mouth that will stop the heat from reaching it so it will heal.

Thank you for all the replies it makes me feel better.

The ni, ti, ss, that's for temp control. If you are vaping Kanthal or Nichrome wire, those are not going to work. Stick with wattage. If your coils are Stainless Steel (SS) ten you can vape in wattage. The other 2 (ni and ti), I don't think you can. I am not a temp control user.

If your coils are burning at higher ohms, you may be vaping them too high a wattage. I vape OCC and SSOCC coils at 13W. I vape very clear peppermint juice at 18mg (aka 1.8%) and have no problem with them. They literally last me weeks on end.

When I prime them, I put the nozzle of my juice bottle right up to each wick hole while I hold the coils head upside down over a trash can, I slowly squirt juice into the wick holes and I stop when liquid comes dripping out the top of the coil head. That's how I prime my OCC and SSOCC coils. I don't mess around dripping from the top like the instructions say to do. They are flooded when I install them, but it only takes a few seconds of vaping to clear it out.

I can understand if you want an AOI device for work, especially one that holds 10ml lololol

You are vaping at 1.5 ohms though correct?

So I looked up Nebox... I was thinking you meant Nichrome coils (Ni80) but you actually meant nickle coils (Ni200). They can be an issue... have to use TC and use it right (I can't help with that... never used TC but many others here with good advice about that) They also have stainless steel coils. If you want/need a new one, here's a great deal:
KangerTech Nebox 60W Kit
Kind of ironic, read the reviews and most people mentioned dropping them (not sure what that means but they also said they are durable) I would just move on... get something else.

Do you really think it could be the device causing my issues? It's been solid. I think it really may have been the vendor I was using. I was using a certain juice for years, and than switched because he upped the price so much. Switched to another and tried all these different kinds of juices. I'm going back to just flavorless, I like it anyways. I'll see how that works out.

BTW, you are vaping a daily total of 216 mg nic... that is a lot.
You might try some simple unflavored juice (also very easy to make yourself) just to see if it was an issue with that juice.
I wasn't blaming the device... not familiar with it. Just asking lots of questions (once again, the more info the better) Be patient... many people here to give you advice.

Well I did scouring of all my stuff, and thank God I actually had some 1.5 coils! Put them in one was a dude, cleaned the tank put another one in, on my nebox it hits really good, on the smok and the others it was nothing. On the spider it hits quite hard though, but not nearly as hot. Maybe I found a fix along with the lower nicotine juice I just bought. Hope this works!

And you still get a nice hit and some vapor? I could care less about clouds, but it does feel nice to have some clouds and a nice throat hit, just like smoking a cigarette.

For me it does. Way more vapor than smoke from a cigarette. That's for sure. But probably not as much as your 0.5ohm at 20-is watts.

I vape 50% PG/50% VG juice. The more VG, the more clouds. So if you vape higher PG then I do you won't get as big a cloud, but more throat hit.

Be careful when you compare coil resistance between different wire types. I'm vaping stainless steel coils at about 0.5 ohms at 12-13 watts. If I make the same coils (same wire thickness and number of wraps) in Kanthal or nichrome they would be around 0.9 ohms. In nickel they would be around 0.07 ohms. And they would all vape pretty much the same at 12-13 watts, just with a bit different different heat up time.

Well it says on the coil made for 7 to 15 watts.

But I have been vaping for years. How would it just come now?

In regard to this, some allergies take time and repeated exposure to appear. For example, I became allergic to a particular laundry detergent only after washing pretty much every piece of clothing and sheet I owned in it. My youngest started showing a mild soy allergy but continued to eat foods with soy content. (It really is in pretty much everything) The allergy got worse and now he can't eat it at all without full blown symptoms. Oddly enough, he didn't handle regular formula well as an infant so for the first almost year of his life his diet consisted mainly of soy based formula.

A few months ago I had a bad break out of mouth sores. Never had them before. I'm pretty sure that vaping didn't cause it but it wasn't helping heal it either. I saw my doctor and she said it could have been caused by several things. In the end, she gave me two scripts, one for steroids and one for sores due to shingles. Not sure which one cleared it up, but it did get better after a couple of days and was gone within a week.
