I am posting this, to see if anyone else is in the same boat as me.
Now mind you I have not had an analog in over 3 months.
Since I started vaping a little over a month ago, I have used a bunch of different vendors for liquid and flavors.

Some flavors and some vendor liquids seem to give me horrible headaches almost as bad as analogs did. It's not every flavor or vendor, but only some.
I also get the feeling that I am REALLY stuffed up, as if I have a cold and my sinuses are stuffed, also I can feel it in the back of my throat but it wont come up.
Now this isn't the first time this happened to me, but it happened to me today the worst so far. I was fine then I started vaping a new flavor I got in today ( Caramel Swirl ) I won't name the vendor.
It got bad to where I had to take 3 Tylenol's and lay down for awhile.

Who else has the same problems from time to time?

-Jon

The only times I have had a headache has been when I chain vaped - usually when trying out a new flavor. The headache is a classic sign of too much nicotine and holds true for when I overuse. If you think that might be your case, aside from cutting back, you could try a lower mg or buy some plain PG or VG and dilute your juice. Even a couple drops in your cart should make a difference.

If you continue to have problems, I would certainly get a more professional opinion.

Pimples is a side effect of quitting smoking not starting vaping btw - headaches can be too much nic OR not enough (annoying isn't it lol).
OP Ive found the same thing with certain makes of liquid - my solution was just to buy elsewhere - I have a feeling its too much VG in MY case (some people get it with all PG too though so YMMV) so my current mixes are all 80/20 PG/VG. I've always suffered with sinus issues though so it might just be me :)

I encountered somewhat of a stuffy nose for the first couple days that I began to vape, but it seems to have tapered off now, for the most part. Also, I did encounter just a wee bit of a scratchy throat those days as well, but that has also gone away.

Thanks for the tip about dehydration and drinking more water. I'll do that to help prevent any further reprecussions.

I'm pretty sensitive to certain smells and artificial flavors and MSG. Since it is some flavors from some vendors, I would really lean towards there being something in the flavor profile that is bothering you. I'm not sure how many juices use artificial flavorings, but I would stay as far away from those as I could.

I guarantee if I tried a banana flavored juice I'd spend the next day in bed with a killer headache. Then again, bacon (nitrites, nitrates) bothers me but I some how manage to soldier through that...go figure. :)

Are you drinking lots of water? PG tends to dry you out. Also, drinking a lot of coffee & soda drinks dehydrates you, so it's essential to drink a lotttt of water throughout the day.

Also, are you chain vaping? I know I was experiencing headaches when I was near nicotine OD.

I do vape more then I did smoke analogs maybe that's why :?:
But I drink plenty of water, I am a fitness guru so I don't drink much coffee and I don't ever drink soda.
I use to drink a lot of coffee to cups in the morning sometimes more, then sometimes some at work. Soda to me is just a poison IMHO, a delicious one yes but very bad for you so I just stay away from it all together.

Have you tried the same flavor from different vendors? It may be that you have an intolerance to something in the flavoring of certain flavors.

I have tried many of flavors from different vendors, what happened to me earlier was just a sample bottle I got from a vendor, it's only 12mg but doesn't state how much pg/vg.

Pimples is a side effect of quitting smoking not starting vaping btw - headaches can be too much nic OR not enough (annoying isn't it lol).

I usually vape 50/50 for sweet flavors and on my tobacco flavors I vape 80/20 pg/vg as well. I don't know what is is, but thank god it is just a sample bottle. I am going to stay away from it all together. Only reason why I tried it was because it smelt SO GOOOOD! but vaping it is a different story.

Thanks everyone, I am going to cut back on my vaping, or try to anyways. I have a V3 arriving tomorrow it's going to be hard when I get that baby.

I am analog free since last friday (almost 7 days) and have been getting a headache as well, BUT I have been vaping my brains out....LOL...I am using 18mg and 24 mg juices and different flavors...but the headache is weird, it is almost as if it is directly behind my eyes, not like a 'normal' headache...SO (and I'm sure you will all laugh at this one) I was thinking "oh, this may be bad for me this vaping thing", THEN it was like the Vape God slapped me upside the head and I heard this booming voice "OH< and the 4,000 chemicals you where sucking on where BETTER???? REALLY?"...so I laughed at myself for about 5 min over that one, had to share! smoking for 40 years and making maybe 4 lame .... attempts to quick, I'm so sure that all the weird things I'm feeling and going through are the 3997 chemicals that are not being put in my body hourly...LOL...

So there fore, will pop a couple of aleve's and vape on....And I am using a 902 and looking to upgrade already as well, seriously? I need more of a hit AND battery power, cuz I'm sucking on this like a new born....LOL...

I just started vaping, last week. I quit analogs completely on Aug. 25th, and the only thing that I have noticed is that my nose runs more. I told my husband that I figured it was the water vapors causing it. LOL But I'm dealing with it. I haven't had any headaches, thank goodness. I'm using the WOW555 cartomizers, and love the taste. Unfortunately, I had to use one of my samples that Vapor4Life sent to me last week, the Hilton 18mg. today, because my order is late getting here. I hope it gets here by tomorrow, because if it doesn't I'll be smoking analogs, again, and I don't want to do that. They were really good about shipping my 1st few orders out, but have gotten a little bit slow here lately.

It has been 55 days now of vaping, and no analogues after 55+ years of smoking 1 1/2 to 2 packs a day. I've bought and tried a lot of different devices, and have tried several types and flavors of liquids with different nicotine levels, including some DIY juice, and I've experienced no noticeable side effects, except for a much lighter wallet. All of the sales that my favorite suppliers keep having are killing me.....:2cool:

I have been a vaping machine for the last week, since I fully committed to the 510 instead of smoking a 401 and then still smoking a dozen analogs a day. Anyway... yeah, headaches (stops within 10 minutes of stopping vaping) and dry mouth (not as easy to fix since I stink at drinking water), but a soda usually knocks out the dry mouth, and it's tastes fantastic with my 555.
