Hey Everyone,

I've been vaping for about 5 years now, and I've played around with a few mods. I wound up settling on a Prodigy V3 mod awhile ago, lost it, and have been just using cheap KGO kits from the mall until I wind up picking up a new mod. I'm rather fond of the CE5 atomizers I've been getting from the mall, as they tend to last me 6-7 weeks until I need to replace the coil. As such I haven't been looking too hard at other options, having been pretty content with the cheap cost and decent experience I've been having.

However, in June I'm going to be working a job that requires me to be in the woods without consistent electricity for potentially days or weeks at a time. As the batteries I've been using cost ~$20, die in about 3 months of use, and only get me about a day of life per charge, I've decided it's time to find something new. I was hoping someone would have advice on a mod I could pick up that uses a standardized battery, something I can just buy in bulk online and charge up before heading to the field and get a day or two of life out of a charge. Something that is also compatible with rebuildable atomizers/tanks would be outstanding.

I'm sorry if these questions seem a bit basic, it's just that coming back here years later makes me realize how much things have changed. There are dozens of mods and companies I've never heard of, products and terms I don't recognize at all, and I am feeling a bit overwhelmed. Any help would be fantastic.

Buy one of those small solar pads and plug it in to an external battery made for iPhone and tablets. Let it charge all day and then plug your stuff in at night into the external battery.

This isn't the 70's. Don't be a barbarian. There is a perfectly reasonable method without giving up your technology. If make darn sure I can get enough charge to get my tablet running and download enough movies and games to last me the entire duration. I'd also be tempted to experiment with satellite internet and run that over Wi-Fi to your phone/tablet.

If i was in your situation I'd be the only one watching TV on your trip.

I like your thinking. I'd get an eVic, several 18650 batteries, and rough it. I say go eVic road since you can monitor battery life, as well as change settings around to better fit your situation. My evic is set to shut off after 7 minutes without use, a single 18650 battery lasts me 2 days of doing a fair amount of vaping. Batteries Are $8 and up, so it can get costly, but you can probably get a deal on them too though.

Look into those solar chargers if you can though, thatd be your best bet in order to be cheaper than stocking bats.

Problem is I'm going to be out in the mountains in pine forests, not sure if I'll be able to get solar power frequently enough for that to work. I could probably rig a charger at the top of a tree for a few hours after making camp... eVic's seem to be a bit costly, I'm thinking about going with a Tesla using the same sort of batteries. I really like the rebuildable atomizer, Leal. Being able to just carry a screwdriver and a bundle of wick and wire would be incredibly convenient.

Looks like for about $60 I can get a charger and 6 tenergy 18650s. I'm going to dig more into Tesla mod info and see what experience people have had using it with different batteries.

I say haul in a big car battery or something you can steal a charge from and rig it to a battery charger and have it ready the whole time you are there. LOL. Man, I just couldn't go without my vape. I can go without washing my hair or anything just about, but not without my VAPE!

I am right there with you!!
