I get the whole more convenient to vape thing even though it is verboten in many places like cigarettes.

I sneak puffs from my vape in dozens of places I would not dare light a cigarette. Elevators, public restrooms, hotel rooms, stuff like that there...

But my method leaves a hint of aroma at worst. The other evening I saw a group of young fellows (in their 20's) all meet in a parking lot. Everybody lit up a cigarette except one guy. They all puffed on their cigarettes and drank from bottles of beer. The one guy vaped. Each time he exhaled the crowd practically disappeared in his fog. My brother vapes in a day what takes me a week. I gave him a 30ml bottle of some yummy sauce and he asked if they sold bigger bottles because it didn't last him all weekend. He used to smoke about 20 ultra light cigarettes a day.

At one point I mixed a 35ml salt with a 3ml freebase of like flavors for about 19ml average. But what I learned over time was more nic was not the answer, at least for me. I just chain vape twice, maybe 3 times for what would be each drag from a cigarette. About ten to twelve puffs total per minute. After about a minute I no longer want to smoke. That's using a 3ml sauce at 70% vg.
Have you also tried higher nic, but just freebase nic? I know myself, if I doubled my nic in salts, I could vape the same MLS compared to my freebase, but if I doubled my freebase nic, I know I would vape alot less....

Have you ever tried WTAs?

I found that salts gave me the nic I wanted (even at 6mg) and seemed to hit me quicker.
I haven't tried the higher mg salts, since 18mg freebase was a bit much for me.
Have you tried WTAs at all?

I never tried wta, but do vape nets. I vape mtl rtas and vape about 2mls a day at 24mg freebase. I got my wife a juul to try, which came with a few pods at 45mg salts. I tried it and felt no TH at all and could probably vape that pod in a half day, so I guess salts work backwards for me...usually folks upping their nic by using salts, lower their mls.....

I got some WTA on sale and I was picking up a strange smoky flavor (think bacon) but I didn't really notice an increase in satiety.
I had a panic attack in advance thinking about 35 or 50 mgs! But with an MTL at low wattage, maybe it's okay? But it's a lot of nicotine, it seems.

I swear I searched far and wide for e-salt juice lower than 35mg and couldn't find any. Or maybe it was I couldn't find any that were at least 50% VG? Can you suggest some? I'll consider the mixing. I just noticed my vaping habit increasing and wanted to keep things at bay. I DID think about putting the vape in another room, or limiting myself to only certain times a day. The cig smoking was fairly self limiting due to the nasty taste/smell and the fact there is no way in hell I would do it in my house or car (not to mention the cancer concern always in the back of my mind.) Vaping is SOOO much better. It's amazing though how hard it is to get fellow smokers to switch! I tell them you just need to stick with it a few days to let your throat get used to the different feel of the hit and then you will NEVER go back and kick yourself for not switching a long time ago! But I know I'm preaching to the choir here on that.

On the mixing, I'd wonder if you CAN make your own e-salt juice with lower than say 25mg than why is it virtually non-existent (as far as I can tell). I had assumed it had something to do with a limitation in the difference of the chemistry between salt and freebase. (But this is probably for a different topic/thread - sorry.)

MY favorite nic salt to use as an additive/mixer is "Stay Salty" in Blue Raspberry. It's a 6 mg salt nic. A local (if I am at work it's local at least) shop sells it.

I was looking for low nic salts online and saw that brand. But I could only find One Hit Wonder Mini Muffin Man in 6mg. I do like the salt effect, though. When I was jonesing for nicotine, I was vaping that constantly so I wouldn't smoke. PG or no! :)

It didn't have PG? That last part confused me. Anyway, here's what I'm using.

If there's any governmental crackdown on vaping, I'm hoping that I'm only vaping 3mls a week!
I diy, use rtas and have salts in the freezer. I've taken away the fda's power over my right to vape in the manner I choose.

I've only been vaping for 2 months now. DIY seems the most reasonable way to go, since you have complete control over ingredients. I'd like to get some organic vg with usp nicotine at some point. Now, I've got no room in my freezer for anything!
I agree about the fda. They have a crappy track record as far as food and drug safety
goes, afaic.

In this matter I want to say "Listen to your body." Because your mind is telling you, "Do you really think that posting a highly unscientific and ignorant screed about nicotine levels on a vaping board and then countering dissenting options by saying "To each their own, I was just MUSING about it, I don't want to hear what you actually have to say./offer" is SMART?"

Your body is tellin yo typing fingers to KNOCK it off. Have a nice vape, not a freak out." Or, a cigarette, (that's what my body is saying....) Have a nice social smoke on your Marlboro lights and forget the nic problem in vaping that is KILLING us off in droves.

LOL, I used to quantify smokers by what brand they smoked.

Marlboro lights, sad but true, "Not to be trusted." No lie.

Hey, I used to smoke them (NOT SOCIALLY) once upon a Long Azz time ago.

Give it up. Just, give it up.

Due to my medical condition, I had to scale back quite a bit on the nic level, otherwise, I’d be sub ohming at 9 mg. If you don’t have a medical condition that could possibly be impacted by your nicotine level, I say it doesn’t matter what level you vape as long as it keeps you off of cigs!

I only tried that salt at whatever a juul is, so perhaps it's much different if I was to use it in my regular rtas at 20 watts. Regardless, I'm big on TH, so salts aren't for me personally. It's for those who need hi nic, but cant handle the TH that comes from freebase over 18mgs....I think salts are good, because before them people had to really change the inhale , going from mtl to dtl and use lower nic, but dtl a lot of it to get enough nic . Maybe there is some similarities between nets and WTA, because some nets I have tried also have a weird taste, like smokey campfire. I personally dont like those nets and besides that taste, they gunk coils fast. I prefer very clean nets that dont have that taste and luckily have found a few that are awesome.

Can I ask what NETs you're using? I got a sample pack from Kind Juice and I like them a lot. No smoky bbq taste and they've been vaping clean so far.

I just KNEW... WTA's would get brought up!! ;)

Not going to provide any research myself. Enough of that is posted.

But here's the deal. Are you jittery? Waking up in a cold sweat? Getting dizzy with a headache? Can't sleep?

If your answers to all of those is NO, then you're doing good.
If you can answer any of them with a YES, then, you may need to lower your nic some how.. or see you Doc to find out what is really wrong! ;)

Yes he can lower his nic, but he is probably mtl and only vaping 3mls per week, so if he lowers to 3mgs mtl at 3mls per week, I dont think that would cut it and with such a low amount of nic in his system, he might get some thoughts of cigs or increase his ml intake....its possible though a super low nic could work for him though

Yes, maybe, ordinarily.
I didn't suggest any dosage. I just suggested that if he feels like he's using too much to try using less.
