Just got to thinking. While I am building my bomb shelter and in the event I need to use it, should I vape while heat seeking missiles are flying about?

That was my first thought too.
So I am safe then? The heat from my mod won't guide a missile my direction!?
You'd have to get a dry hit, continue taking the hit while your throat and lungs are screaming in agony, and happen to be in a cloud of fumes all simultaneously.
In other words... Unless you're doing something stupid like making a coil and dry burning the coils to squeeze them together while pumping gas, then no.

I'm guilty of vaping and pumping gas! still got all my fingers and toes and haven't caught anything on fire yet!

Depends on the mod and atty. A mech with a dripper I would not. Some APV's I would not as they produce an Pulse modulated voltage and I know RF is bad to have around pumps. In the extreme any mod has a LiOn battery and they can fry or pop. Probably be best not to if for no other reason than the peace of mind of folks around you going "their smoking OMG".
I don't believe vaping can ignite gasoline. I remember when I was a teenager (I was a genius back then), I threw a lit cigarette in a cup of gasoline. Just put the cigarette out.
What happened to the days when we used to stay in the car? The attendant would walk up to the window and we'd say "fillerup!". He go back and pull the tag down, take off the cap, and smoke while he leaned with one hand on the trunk and filled the tank, with a half inch ash on the cigarette hanging out of his mouth.
If you were lucky, another attendant would bring out a vacuum cleaner with a brush/armature motor that created internal sparks and vacuum out your car while a third guy cleaned all your windows. $7 later, you'd drive out with a full tank, clean windows, and clean carpets.
The guy who pumped your gas would be leaning on the pump, still smoking his unfiltered Pall Mall.

little note; any fumes (petrol or otherwise) in the air where you're vaping are being pulled directly to your coil when you inhale. hence the air hole necessary to allow vapor delivery in every atty of every type.
that being said, there's literally almost no way to start a fire at the pump while vaping. vaping works on the principles of evaporative cooling. the liquid on the coil and the air delivered to it when you inhale keep the pg and vg from igniting. if it was hot enough in your atty to ignite gasoline, your juice would be cooked on every hit. this is evidenced when you dry burn and your remaining juice ignites. yet it doesn't when you're actually vaping.
not to mention a gas tank is an enclosed system with limited access to oxygen. even if it was ignited somehow, unless there was fuel all over the place to ignite the actual vehicle, the oxygen in the tank would be depleted very abruptly and the flame would extinguish itself. any childhood firebug should know more fuel in a soda bottle doesn't make the flame last longer than a split second.
there should also be properly rated and charged fire extinguishers accompanying any fuel pump by law.
that being said, there's the public perception and your own comfort level to deal with. if you're not comfortable, don't do it. if you can't handle an irate ignoramus swiftly and efficiently without issues, save yourself the trouble and wait until you're back in your vehicle.

P.S. people start fires at the pump every year because they don't touch the metal frame of the vehicle and discharge any static before pumping. electrostatic discharge causes an arc similar to the one spark plugs are designed to make. touch metal on your car before opening your fuel door, people.

In sweden you would get about 3 litres of gasoline for 7$ ^^
Realy expensive here about 2.2$ for 1 litre...
