Sorry I didn't get a chance to get you proper internal photos :(

All I can say is with regard to the 510 - pulling up the top plate, I could see a sandwich of multiple layered connections:

Outer SS 510
--- Top Plate ---
Brass 510 nut
A silverish braided cable, coming from the board - not like the cables shown in your pictures; bare wire, multi-strand
What appeared to be a circular, silver-coloured washer or nut, connecting down into the battery area (out of sight)

I call this a sandwich because it was one item on top of the other, with the brass 510 nut and the "circular washer" connected to top and bottom respectively of that braided cable such as to create a "sandwich", with the cable as the "filler" between the two nuts/washers.

Does that make any sense?

Willie is getting his Waidea on Monday and I'm sure he'll be dismantling it :)

Re the ground screw, all I can say is that if the ground screw/wire should be visible with the top panel off, then it wasn't there. I figured when I was looking at it that it must be below the plastic sled/insert that holds the screen, which I didn't ever remove as my problems resolved with just the top panel off.

Yeah I should be getting mine on Monday, give me a few days of vaping with it so that I can compare performance.
I have no problem taking it apart and posting pictures, as I'm just as curious as everyone else is, and it gives me a chance to see how difficult it's going to be to replace the Waida board with an authentic should the occasion arise in the future, in my mind I'm seeing the sled being much more friendly than gobs of hot glue that Kangxin uses.

Wait, the Yihi SX chips are just DNA clones with a couple of minor features added?? Or that one was at least?

I thought the Yihi chips were really different - all that 'gravity sensor' nonsense (yeah, holding the mod upright and then tilting it left/right is really a great way to change wattage, good thinking there! How about to fire, I throw it across the room?)

Or is that more recent and they started out with a clone?

YiHi have been around along time in vaping terms and have made many boards probably more than any other vaping company, the SX300m is not even a listed product but this is not unusual for them! The SX300m is the same form factor as a evolv DNA30 has on board switches and the same sized screen and layout. Even though its a clone board its not like for example the ones made by or supplied to Hotcig, Cloupor or KSD to name a few. It doesn't have any sleep delay and from what I can tell has exactly the same scroll speed and screen layout as a evolv DNA30. I did a few tests and everything was the same, same atty, same resistance and output voltage compared to an evolv.

I have never seen one before I bought a Lost Vapes TAN V2 mod i think they maybe the same boards in the Hcigar HB 38 not the evolv HB 40.

I have upgraded the Tan with a evolv DNA 40 now.

I got my photo here: FV DNA40 Build - Album on Imgur

If the Waidea clone is done like this one there is no ground screw, in fact the top plate and the four screws would be the ground path between the board and batteries.
The black wire on the 510 is connecting to what would be 11/12 on an Evolv DNA40 which is internal connected to 8 (ground).

This was pretty much exactly what the inside of mine looked like too. The chip was labeled SXK 50W, and I used the usb charger since it was a 1 amp.

The only breakout board however was for the up down fire buttons, turned 6 leads into 4 using a common ground.

And yes the common ground is the 510 and the screws holding the top plate to the main body.

Right behind you...
No

I did the same Just about completed the entire Columbo collection on netflix.

Lol, I didn't watch Columbo (Bloodlines and Daredevil, both solid btw), but looking back, it felt like he was there with me.

"Oh, there's just one more thing...to watch."

So after fiddling with my flask since Thursday night I have been having a few issues with the ni200 wire. I'm using 32g temCo wire, did single wire wraps ranging from .15 to .23 and find it give no flavor and little vapor. So I tried twisted 32g 2 wire using the mug twist method and been having some issues getting the resistance over .13 fitting in my subtank mini rda. The vapor and flavor are better but not as good as the 1.2 to 1.5 ohm kanthol builds I was doing before in the rba before. I've tried 360*F to 500*F 14w to 30w and I am just not sure what I'm doing wrong. Any suggestions on what I might be doing wrong?

I have not used nickel in my ST mini RTA but have rebuilt the RBA with nickel and used with an Evolv DNA40 only... but here's how it's built: 28 gauge nickel with 3 mm id and around 12 wraps with rayon wick. It works very well but still not beating Nichrome or Kanthal. Just my opinion I'd say though.
Just to avoid any misunderstanding I'm talking about the "disposable" head.
You might consider twisting 3 even 4 strands together.

I think I found my problem, seems to be a combination of airflow and viscosity of my liquid. I was running the middle airflow setting on the subtank mini, opened it to the largest and that allows it to heat up more before cutting watts which also leads to more heat in on the metal sides of the rda which warms up my liquid to make it flow easier. Now on my .13 ohm twisted 32g 7 wrap coil I'm getting great vapor and flavor but man is it sucking liquid like crazy. BTW running 410* and 20w.

In my personal, I have suggested supervisor to accept you send item back, and once we got tacking number, we will send you a replacement one. But after supervisor finished meeting with manufacturer, they still did not accept it.

As you pointed out, we were a lovely company for all customer, for any RMA, whatever the reasons, we did a quickly refund/replacement, and when we did that, our RMA going up on ten days after someone announced it on forum.Even that, we didn't close our door for any RMA requirements during that time. But on the manufacturer side, they have said they sold about a lots Vapor Flasks on B2B and B2C, but the only large parts RMA happened from our company.

Then they close the door for our RMA, limited our sourcing and etc.We are sorry about it, we have tried everything to make the solution easier, but that’s just how it’s turned out.

If the return fee is about 13 quid, that is fine, don't worry too much. I will help you to sort it out.

Seems like 3F is now the riskiest place to buy Waidea, as Waidea will not handle their RMAs normally?

Which she says has been because of the BOGOF bonanza.. Maybe they did get lots of fake claims.

She's still ignoring my point that I think they should use their stock, independent of Waidea.

But if they have been the victim of scam returns, their position may be more understandable. Though that's still not my problem, or shouldn't be.

Trouble is we don't know the volumes involved. If they had 100 returns in a week, maybe that's reasonable to clamp down on. But for all we know it was 5. And these flasks aren't exactly a 99.9% quality product.

The shipping issue remains unresolved - she's said it's fine to spend £13 / $18 on shipping, but not addressed the fact that that's untracked.

Of course, I seemingly no longer need to return my product, which I am yet to tell her. I suppose I'll tell her that tomorrow; I had been waiting both to be absolutely sure that it was still working, and also to see the result of my last email on Friday.

Re: return shipping.
FT uses a place in Florida that you ship your returns to. My friend shipped an item there and never got the replacement. After inquiring about it they said they never received it so "signature conformation" is a must, not sure if that comes with tracking or not.

Waidea's Management obviously would have been interested in reading Nicole's Review of the VF V3 1:1 clone since they sent her the Flask for that purpose. They certainly would have read the Comments Section as well.

All they needed to read was that 3FVape was allowing customers to keep the defective merchandise to know that would not bode well for the number of QC Returns so they probably threatened not to sell to 3FVape unless they agreed to limit the number of returns and capped return shipping reimbursement to $15/unit for 3FVape so they would have financial incentive to make it happen.
