I removed the battery's on my ? Vapor Flask, when the display was showing half a charge left. The voltage on the battries show 3.75 on each one. I thought this was a little low? At what voltage do these clones shut off the device?
which version flask do you have?

Thanks,so I'm guessing the battery goes down hill fast after about 50%.

I don't know how the device is reporting battery level. 18650 batteries discharge faster below 3.7V than above. If the flask reports 3.7V as 50%, then yes, it will discharge faster below 50%.

@TheBloke How's the fire delay on that 50W? Less noticeable than the Waidea/every other dna clone I've tried?

Do you mean in normal use, not from sleep? If so, I'm not a good job one to judge because I never really noticed any delay on the Waidea - with all mods I start pressing the button as I'm raising it to my mouth and then I draw and I get vapour. So I'm automatically compensating any delay I suppose.

I just did a quick test, with an Atlantis I had at hand with stock 0.50 coil.

First I put it on the Waidea, set to 28W. I put it on the smallest airhole, put it in my mouth, and pulled air through it without firing. Then I pressed fire, and tried to judge the time it took before I noticed vapour.

Did that several times so that the coil was warm on subsequent tests.

Then I did the exact same thing on the Infinite, and I felt it was maybe slightly faster. Maybe 0.25 vs 0.5 seconds? Not more than that - the Waidea seemed fast enough to me!

If this is a big thing with the clones (I never noticed before due to my automatic pre-vape style!) I'll do a proper test on camera, so I can watch it back and tell to the ms which fires first. I'll do that with a bare coil, so I can judge by glow or similar.

@TheBloke - Thanks for the timely & awesome review!!!! Much appreciated! Can't wait to get my flask! going to be at least another 10 days though. No charger in box though? Maybe I have a micro USB somewhere. On that topic though, how do you or anybody prefer to charge these flasks? Leave batts. in or take out & put on charger? The only reason I would want to leave in is if it is a pain to get batts. in & out.

Something I just noticed (and was surprised I didn't realise before!) - the Infinite has no screen glow.

On my Waidea, it has two modes of brightness, with the stronger brightness showing when you're firing.

The Infinite is always the same brightness. Which is fine with me.

The Infinite screen also gives the appearance of being slightly crisper. It's got a slightly different font. For example, on a 2, the top curve of the 2 is more distinct. The Waidea's top curve is like a little piglet tail, where the Infinite's is a proper hook.

Terribly important distinction ;)

The following photo demonstrates this, but also over-emphasises it. That's because the Waidea screen comes out blurrier in the photo than it looks in real life. I think that might be because it's brighter, or has a stronger backlight, whereas the Waidea's is less so. That does contribute to the feeling of the Infinite's being crisper in real life, just not to the degree shown in the photo.

Anyway you can see what I mean about the different font :)

Yeah no USB cable with mine. Might have been an oversight, it can't be standard - there's a place for it in the box. Given you've ordered the 40W and that will be batched separately, there's every chance yours will have one.

I never charge these devices via USB, because it's so much slower. My charger will do 1A or 2A per battery - this Infinite Flask appears to be 400mah per battery, so 2.5 or 5 times slower. (My charger is 2A per battery on two batteries, or 1A per battery on four. I tend to leave it on 1A so I can have four in at once, even though I tend to only charge two at once. I've found 1A to be fast enough in practical usage - takes 2-3 hours to recharge two Samsung 25Rs.)

But the option of USB charging is there if you want it and can wait. And you can vape while it's charging (though probably not with empty batteries - I've not tested that.)

I would never trust a built in charger, let alone a built in charger on a clone from a country known for shoddy chargers and batteries. Lol.

On that note, my Kangxin vaporflask should be here Thursday or Friday. :D

The Chinese EFest and Nitecore chargers work great. Oh, and Opus.

You'll not trust the charging board in your mod but you will trust it to fire 20A into a metal coil inches from your face?

Yeah, in normal use, thanks. Odd, the fire delay on the Waidea is the biggest annoyance I have with it. Its more like 1 second to me, I can literally say "one one thousand" before it starts firing after pressing the button.

And you see that on everything? So you'd see it with a basic Atlantis tank and 0.5 coil?

I just did that test, and on the Waidea I got to "one one" before I heard it crackle (when the coil was already hot from a previous fire)

Later I'll see if I can capture this on video with accurate timing, it'll be a good point of comparison to the Waidea.

Yeah, I should note that is with kanthal builds, and the same delay across multiple RTAs / RDAs / Clearos.

Side note, haven't really used ni200 much on the Waidea, last night I did a bit of testing with the ni200 OCCs, but that didn't work out so well.

I'm not really sure? I got it off E Bay as a 1:1 clone. The first one I got didn't work right, and the seller sent me a pre paid sticker to send it back. 4 days later I received a replacement one,and it's working flawlessly! I think it's a Waidea? 001 (30).JPG 002 (20).JPG005 (3).JPG

I just ordered a silver 60 watt VF from FT ( the Zero's they just put up look nice too.), I better pull them Evolv boards out of the "adoption" area as I may need them later.
About on board charging, if it has it I use it and it only. I'm in no hurry, I just use another mod.
(didn't mean to ninja the post)

Today's vape mail:

Oh they don't, I didn't even notice that haha. There is a slot for it in the box, though. The manual has no kind of "Included" list, so no help either way.

@nelsonm64 - first battery charging result is good:

I took my batteries out just now, after they'd been in about 10 hours. I had not been vaping exclusively on the device for the whole time, but I would say at least 85% of it.

At the point I removed them, the battery indicator was around 50%, and had been there for a couple of hours at least.

On the charger, both showed 3.6V. Unfortunately my Lucv4 only shows one decimal place, so I can't be more accurate than that. But practically every time I've removed batteries on the Waidea (and my IPV4 for that matter) they've showed 0.1 apart.

I believe there's a way of testing battery voltage using a DMM? I have a fairly accurate, 22000 count DMM - if anyone can tell me how to use that to get a two-decimal-place reading of their voltage, I'd be glad and interested to do it.

Given the first result was good, I will now let my second freshly charged pair of Samsung 25Rs drain until Weak Battery before checking again, so that will (hopefully) be in about 24 hours time.

This is how I do it:
