See they are saying delay in DNA200 release was to Add (8) Preset profiles settings so instead of interfacing to computer for changing wire & atty settings you will be able to have 8 choices preprogrammed into the mod and change between them in the field.
What to include in the profile? You decide.

Want to select coil material? Want to set the TCR (custom) ? Want to set the temp and wattage ? Want to set the preheat level, punch, duration? Want to lock the ohms?

I just got the new black subtank mini today with the new vertical coils and the new style rba (which is the reason I wanted it.) So far she's wicking better than the old style rba.
I don't like how they've solved it at all!
The holes on the side are at wick level. This means that when liquid is getting below this level, it's not wicking anymore. I've adjusted my wicking method and never get a dry hit with the old RBA and you can really vape it until it's empty.

I agree with that, but drilling those same holes in the old RBA certainly could improve juice flow to your wicking should you experience issues in the future

Yeah, drilling holes is the easy way but introduces the same problem as I mentioned.
There are several youtube vids showing how to wick the Subtank Mini for high VG liquids. It's working great so I really prefer that opposed to drilling holes.
If I ever wanted to modify the old style RBA then I'd just widen the existing channels so the flow stays the same but there's more room for thick liquids. No idea why Kanger hasn't taken that approach.
But we're getting miles off-topic here...

And back on topic... ;)
I received a Kangxin Flask the other day (the one without USB port) and Stealth mode and Left/Right hand mode don't seem to work.
Am I doing it right?
Stealth mode: in locked mode, I press Fire and Down; it just shows "Normal Mode" after a few seconds. Never Steal(th)
Left/Right mode: in locked mode, I press Fire and Up; it shows Left Mode after a few seconds but the display stays like it is.
Is this a bug?

I've also noticed that with the pre made coil heads. Those dang holes are too high or the head just does not sit low enough in the tank. I'm gonna see if I can leave a little cotton hanging out of the wick holes so they touch the bottom of the tank on my next build with this new rba. The black ST mini looks sweet on my flask though.;)

The SXK 60W version is now available on Focalecig!
Grab one while you can. They have only 5 black and 5 silver available (minus the ones that have already been ordered/reserved) and it could take a while before they get back in stock once these are gone.
Price is $69.82 which isn't bad considering they're being sold for $99 elsewhere.

They listed them last Friday morning, either they have more than 10 or they aren't selling too well.

I'm sittin' here almost in tears thinking about how Evolv is probably going to release the 200D next week and there's no way for me to put it in one of my flasks.
Don't cry. Someone will figure out a way to cram that chip in a flask albeit the flask might have to get a little bit chunkier. Shhhhhhhhh, Shhhhhhhhh, hush now, China will make it all better.:). LOL.

I got one of those 12 volt batteries at work for emergency lighting, maybe I can duct tape a flask to it and outfit it with a cigarette lighter plug for charging.

Tuesday or Wednesday I think. It could go in a flask as you could get a 900mAh 3s that fits in one tube and the chip in another with a bezel on the outside for control. In the end though it would be a cludge. I think the flask form factor is dead if the market goes to lipos (and I think it will for lots of reasons). And before the questions fly, 3 series 900mAh is similar in mWh as one 2700mAh generally...that is to say it is about the same mass and reserve of capacity.

Lol Ya I forgot that it's voltage hungry.
You could always tear out your car stereo, mount the dna200 in its place, and repurpose your window washer as a juice tank for a great on the go vape!

Happy Father's Day!

It'll be interesting to see how they incorporate the DNA 200 into a flask if they do decide to go that route. All I know is when the VS DNA 200 comes up for pre-order, I will click "buy". What would be really neat is if evolv did what smoktech is doing with their xcube 2. They're using Bluetooth to connect to the device for adjustments. I don't have a computer. That would be a plus with me. Change my settings via my cellphone.:thumb:
