On that particular model if you press up down up down up down fire fire fire within 2 seconds it unlocks hidden wattage, 10 more watts, I think.:bday:
Now that sounds like a fool the new guy sort of thing. Next you'll be telling me I need a left handed screwdriver to remove the torx screws on top

The box says vaporflask v3. So I doubt I have a version 4.

Does it have a USB port?

I believe it's a Vapor Shark rDNA clone.
None of them there either now.
Yes, it's an rDNA clone. Shipped it today. Hopefully they'll find me a new one, otherwise I'll save the money for a next generation tc device. Really liked the rDNA case, I've wanted one for forever, but I just wasn't feeling like putting a new board in it.

Here's a (crude) trick I'm using to get my SXK flask use the correct resistance for temperature control:
After building a new coil I measure the resistance on a device I know is reading the correct value.
I then put it on the SXK flask and fire it for about 1 or 2 seconds.
I quickly unscrew it and immediately screw it back on again and press Up (new coil).
Since the heat has made the resistance higher it's now reading higher than the actual resistance. If it's still below the actual resistance then fire it a bit longer.
If it's too high then unscrew it, wait a few seconds and screw it back on again (press New Coil every time) until it reads the value you've measured with the other device.
Of course this is only practical if you're not using different tanks. I always use the same tank so once the resistance is set I keep using that value until I make a new coil.

Sorta off topic, but I've been using a no-name $10 Velocity RDA clone for a couple weeks now, and man, what a great design for Ni200 builds. Tons and tons of room to run those redonkulous long coils thicker Ni200 need to reach min resistance when using duals.

30ga, 28ga, even 26ga can be made to work at the 0.1 ohm range of the DNA40 and Rayn clones and more importantly, room to make even longer coils if you (like me) don't trust a DNA40/ChiNA40 down below 0.15 due to refinement issues.

Dead simple to build on, can't stress this enough, it's just great in that regard. Tons of airflow options, from a good MTL to airy as hell, and easy to adjust. You want clouds, it does clouds. You want flavor, it does flavor. You want clouds and flavor, it does clouds and flavor. Nice chuff cap (I usually don't like chuff-style caps, this one is an exception) and a 510 drip tip adapter if you want to roll your own. Huge juice well and leak/over-dripping resistant. Can close airflow all the way down to be pocket friendly. Anodized black version looks great on my black flasks.

Barrel design with a locking tab means you can crank it down tight on your mod for a solid connection and not worry about adjusting airflow loosening the 510 connection.

One downside, it really needs more than 40w to really shine if you're using long thick dual 26ga or twisted dual 28ga coils, however, 40w is enough for dual 28 non-twisted, or dual 30ga, at up to about 0.15 ohms. 26ga works better on my SX M Class thanks to the extra power. Speaking of 30ga, the grub screws can capture it, but they need a little extra care with single strand, twisted not so much.

Another downside, my unit has a long-ish 510 post, so there's a quite visible gap when using it on my Waidea flask, about thick enough to pass a piece of 26ga wire under it. But since it's black, it doesn't jump out at me when using it. Sits better on my Kangxin with Varitube spring loaded 510.

Also works a treat (obviously) with standard wire.

This thing is so good, I'm going to order an authentic just to show my love. For me, it's a game-changer with dual Ni200 and dripping. Hope to see a tank system using the same sort of build deck soon. Also has bottom feeder version that might finally make me move over to Squonkville.

Interesting. I've ordered but haven't received a pair of these for my squonker since it comes with a hollow 510 connector. Guess I'll have to give it a try with Ni200 before I swap out the center pin. Not all versions of the clone have the squonker center pin.

I just got some Ni200 coils for the Kanger Subtank, the slightly improved style from the Subox kit, which are my first temperature vape. Since I like a cool vape I'm loving the way its working at a temp set at 420°. Much better than the way a Wattage or Voltage device works.

I had bought some Ni200 but not realizing just how low a resistance it had I got 26 gauge, 32 wraps on a 2.5 mandrel. I'll need to order higher gauge to make usable coils, especially the dual coil RBA like a Fogger.

I'm having a hard time trying to unscrew the hex screw on my Waidea VF. Bought a 1.3'm hex but wouldn't do it. Can someone shed some light on me??
The t5 even stripped out my Waidea's screws. I just took s micro screwdriver and tapped it down into the screw head with a pair of pliers. Only then I was able to tighten them down or loosen them.

Well, praise be, the authentic flask is now coming in a SX 350 J version. My favorite board in my favorite form factor. Yes, that's an authentic VF with an authentic Yihi board inside.

I do wonder if it'll still be parallel, or if they go serial to get the higher wattage/joules out of the SX board.

I'm gonna say parallel since it says 60 watts on the screen. Usually they put the mod at the highest wattage then take a picture for advertising purposes. My question is how did they get that board in there?.

There's a fair bit of internal volume in there, lke that huge "wasted" gap between the USB port and the board. And I can see Yihi doing an custom OEM board for VF with a more flask-friendly form factor (say that three times fast!).
