so lets just confirm to those people who have received their flasks.

are the device working flawlessly?

1) temp control (with parameters)
2) Battery life. (heard authentic ones lasts atleast 4 days).
3) overall performance of the chip

Thanks

I only want to comment on 2)...

4 days? Yeah sure... Depending on the vaper, vaping style, coil configuration, power level, nic level and e juice. You can't compare between Vapers. The only way to assess a difference is the same vaper having both mods with the same atty vaping the same way.

You can't just say mod A is great because the chip makes the battery last 4 days.

Mine left San Antonio this morning headed for Houston at 5:13am, I think the truck got hijacked because I haven't seen anyother action since, and its only a 3 hour drive from Houston to San Antonio.

When did yours ship out of china? And when did you first get notice it was in the US from USPS?

It looks like mine still has not made it out of customs....maybe tomorrow.

Temp works fine on mine. Battery life is purely a function of mAh capacity of your batteries and the wattage needed to get the temp you set it at multiplied by how many times it can vape your draw duration and how long that lasts you. In other words, the same atty on the original with the same batteries would product the same run time. My chip performs fantastic. Best mod money I have spent to date.

Temperature Control works great for me. It's not as hard to get setup as everyone on YouTube makes it out to be.

Battery life is stellar. Mine is on day two using temperature control at 430° and 27.5watts and it's not even half dead.

Overall performance, I'd rate it 9 out of 10. Does everything as advertised but I feel my iPV3 hits so much harder. 40watts on the flask is like 30watts on the iPV. Maybe because it's run in series and not parallel?

10 seconds each @ 27 watts and 450F with rayon wicking
The temp setting was 450 F but went up to 510F during test, not sure what that's about.
Looks pretty acceptable to me.
Never once displayed "temperature protected", not even without the wick???

Going 60 F over set limit is not good. Did it stay there or just jump there momentarily?

I did read somewhere the chips would no longer display "temp protected," so that seems ok. The watts scaled down though, right?

Hi guys, it's a long thread so I'm gonna just ask you guys. So I'm very short on budget and thinking I will settle with the clone vaporflask. The store tried the temp control before and it worked. So I tried it yesterday and I compare it with rdna40. The firing in the clone took 2 seconds to full fire while the rdna40 is constant. But after the clone full fire, the taste is no different than rdna40. It's so smooth and perfect. But that 2 seconds do annoy me a little.

So is it worth to spent it on the clone, or will you save until you can get the authentic rdna40? And read that Aspire is going to launch Atlantis v2, with coil 0.3. So does the clone work well with the new coil?

It stayed there, I shall re-visit that situation tomorrow as I work nights and am at work now.
Oh yes the watts went down to near nothing like 1 and 2

Yeah, something isn't right on that. Ours hits TP with dry cotton and with out. Are you using spaced coils or micro?

Well my wife and I have both, hers is the VF clone and mine the rDNA 40. Hers does have a slight delay, but it doesn't bother her at all and I've used it and doesn't bother myself either. So that question is on you really, you said your on a budget. As for the Atlantis I can't speak much on sorry, plus I'm really a Kanger mini fan.

Just out of curiosity, is there anyone that has received one of these from focalecig? Over the past couple days I have read this entire thread, because I had placed an order with FT. Early on in the thread I got a bit wormy about FT, canceled that order and went with focal. After watching the video from vulgarvapedude, I'm a little worried again. Plus it seems 3f has spectacular customer service. What say you all? LOL

I've had issues with focal but I know many will recommend. I like Fastech's warranty as it is very hard to beat, but hate that they will file off serial numbers from equipment so it wont trace back to their suppliers who are selling to them (how they keep the prices down). If you read the thread, you know about 3FVape. I really can't fault them at all so far.

Only you can make your choice & I don't want to tell you who to buy from.

As far as vulagarvapedude goes, I'm hardly about to let his opinions shape my decisionmaking.
