Don't plan on using the usb at all since I trust the nitecore more..

510 is adjustable.

Ok, so it took a month after they 'shipped' it! Might get mine by the summer!! Lol.

ps as an interim I just pulled the trigger on an istick 50w that I have been thinking about for a while. I really need another mod to go with my poor little cloupor mini. Hopefully this will keep me amused until the VF turns up!!

0.8ohm dual coil build. 450°at 30watts dry firing and it barely discolored the cotton. Working like a champion!

Puff! man you are lucky...i ordered on 7th of feb and still waiting... i m getting f ing ...... off now.
It is in canada, i called canada post and they said it might take up to a week or more due to the type of shipment they sent.
I cant believe 3fvape is getting good comments. They told me shipping will take 7-10 days. thats why i didnt upgrade my package.
this is soo stupid. if they would have told me in the beginning, i would have no problem paying extra couple of bucks for faster shipping.

And YES, Still f ing waiting 1 month and 5 days.

I twisted 28gauge Ni200 with 30gauge Kanthal and did 10 wraps per coil. Dual coil.

Mine left San Antonio headed for Houston (3 hours away) yesterday at 5:15am still no update on where it is today.
I ordered mine just before CNY.

Confused. So most of the resistance of those coils is coming from the kanthal so TC shouldn't work right since the resistance won't change as it heats up - at least nowhere near as much as it would with just Ni200...???

So you were probably a bit off 450 in that video with the Kanthal twist. On the high side.

On that build, you might want to try 9 wraps per, get it above 0.1, so it's not soft-limiting.

No, it's still going to flow mostly through the 28ga nickel, so it won't be far off at all compared to straight nickel. But he gains coils that are a good bit stronger.

I tried 4 different builds and that's the only one I could get to fire. Using dual coils with the Ni200, its hard to get the resistance up there..

My bad, not one less wrap, one more wrap, 11 per. Don't know what's up with my maths today.

The Kangxin so far, just because it's a known good (mostly) board, a good (if not 1:1) housing, and has an adjustable 510 connector.
